Cami was a breath of fresh air greeting me after a long hard trip and making me feel instantly welcome. Taking me on a tour of the entire home and showing me all the places I could relax. The one thing she said to me that made me feel really comfortable was that if there was anything I needed in the kitchen to explore and look around. She also made herself available to any requests I may have had during the day. Her response was prompt and I never felt like I was imposing. This is a true example of hospitality it's hight. Most of my stay I didn't even need to take a sleeping pill. The Bed is amazing!
The Spencer House deserves each one of its 5 stars and more. It's one of San Francisco's gems and is the perfect combination of amazing host and unique home. There is so much warmth, generosity and hospitality in this house, you'll leave feeling like part of the family. Highly recommend staying here!
Cami is the best!! My favorite hostess :) THANK YOU again for making each trip so magical xox
We called Carol from the airport, and she let us in (early) as soon as we arrived. She provided us with maps and other information on San Francisco. Both Carol and Cami helped us in every way they could. They spent much time talking to us about the history of their beautiful home. Very nice people.
We were able to use the kitchen, living areas, laundry, and wonderful outdoor space as we chose.
The pictures don't do the house justice. It is a late 1800's mansion that is in perfect condition. One of the few survivors of the 1906 earthquake. Everything is either original or refurbished with incredible quality. It was a privilege to be able to live in a piece of history for a week.
The bed was a feather bed, much like it was back in it's day. My daughter and I enjoyed it, but someone with back problems probably would need a more firm bed.
Loved, loved, loved it :)
Cami and Carol and the family all made me very welcome and I enjoyed talking to them. The house and bedroom were beautifully restored and maintained.

Cami: As a model, I've been traveling around the world for the past 10 years and as of lately have been spending more time between NYC and SF. I love good food, good wine and good sake, maybe the reason I stick around these two cities. As a host I really try to make sure my guests have a memorable and fun time. And because good food and wine are my obsession, sharing is imperative!
Carol: Graphic designer and artist, living in SF since 2010, but still discovering things all over the city and eager to share my findings! I love showing our guests the best in our neighborhood and the city (and good surf spots for beginners!).
Ever since we started hosting at the Spencer House it has been our pleasure to share one of the most beautiful Queen Victorian houses in San Francisco and at the same time meeting the most fantastic people!
