My friend and I went to honolulu for reading break, it was our first time visiting Hawaii. This place was just off the beaten Waikiki trail off Kapahulu. There were several buses to choose from and there's a nearby Safeway and other restaurants to choose from. We enjoyed our stay, it is a beautiful little apartment.

the description was accurate and the neighborhood quiet and safe and conveniently located to restaurants supermarket and entertainment kari was traveling on business but her manager tami was gracious and helpful
I stayed in this garden studio for three weeks after I moved to Hawaii and it was a great experience. Kari and her property manager Tami were amazing hosts. My first few nights here Kari invited me to the main home where she and her friends were having a small get together/dinner. We ate some great food and had fun times. Tami was super friendly, helpful, and is now a friend too! The studio is fully furnished with everything one would need to feel as if they were staying at home. It is located in a very central and hip area of Honolulu with plenty of highly rated restaurants and a grocery store at walking distance. Waikiki beach is a mile and a half or so down the street. Street parking was not an issue at all. The neighborhood is safe, peaceful, and quiet. Overall, I highly recommend this place.
We had a great time at Honolulu. The studio was in a good neighbourhood very close to Waikiki and all the shops you need.
To mention is also the beautiful terrace at day and especially in the evening.
Kari was a fantastic host. She answered always quickly. Tami, her housekeeper, was also available for any requests we had.
We really enjoyed our stay.
Studio was very nice. It would be great of there was a small stove and better parking. Parking was a problem every day
The studio is great! We enjoyed the terrace and bbq very much! The room in itself is just as described! Very comfortable.

About the Host, Kari
Originally from South Padre Island, TX, I moved to the Hawaiian Islands in 2001. Hawaii is an amazing place with perfect weather, a beautiful ocean, fresh and delicious food and a great culture based on family first and sharing love and kindness. My favorite pastimes include surfing, stand up paddleboarding, outrigger canoeing, hiking, cooking, spending time with good friends and family members and traveling. I am a physical therapist by trade and now work as a Long Term Care Consultant.
