''This is a lovely traditional house. It is close to the city centre easy walking but any visitor needs to be aware that it is up a fairly steep hill. We chose for its central location and it was a good decision. If you get puffed climbing hills then perhaps it wouldn't suit. Most of Tromso is built up on the hill above the flat sea level area so the comment probably applies to a few properties.

Great house, even better host! Less than 10mins away from the Sentrum by foot. Comfortable and cosy room. Will stay here again!!

I couldn't recommend Ane Marie's place enough. I've had the best airbnb experience at Ane Marie's so far. She is a wonderful host and everything about her place is just wonderful. I stayed at her place for 4 nights and had no issues whatsoever. Location is really good too just about an 8-10 minute walk to the city center. Her breakfast is a must-try! Almost everything is home-made even the bread. Lastly, Ane Marie made sure that I feel comfortable and at home at the first minute I met her. I'll definitely stay at her place again next time I visit Tromsø.

Ane Marie's place is amazing. There is a lot of love in this old house. We really had a great stay near the center of Tromsø and with an amazing view. The hosts are super friendly and helpful! We definitely recommend it!

This a wonderful house in a convenient location with an excellent host. We have had a wonderful time in Tromso which was highlighted by seeing the Northern Lights. The bedroom is small, the bathroom is shared and the excellent breakfast is an extra cost. None of these issues prevented us from enjoying our short holiday but others need to be alert to them when considering booking. We didn't hire a car and found it convenient and healthy to walk almost everywhere in Tromso. Taxi to and from airport is best. To gain maximum opportunity for seeing northern lights we booked a tour with Greenlander who we would fully recommend. Ane Marie provides a warm and enthusiastic welcome into her home and is helpful with good advice for enjoying Tromso. We would certainly choose this accommodation for any future trip to Tromso.

Ane Marie User ProfileAne Marie is a superhost.

I am norwegian. I am working at the University in the arctic north of Norway. I have an international job, so I travel quite a lot. I love art, jazz music and enjoy to ski and sylke. I am open, quiet, and entusiastic about meeting new people and see new places around the world.

I speak well english, although my language is norwegian.
