  • It was a pleasure to stay in Ane Maries house.
It was amazing when we arrived and saw the big house which was much bigger as aspected. Unfortunataly Ane Marie was not at home during our stay but her husband Tor was a lovely host as well. He maked us a very nice breakfast and decorated it very lovely.

They only have one bathroom for guests. Please notice that you have to share the bathroom with other visiters if they have more at the same time as you are staying. The bathroom is very big and modern and has a underfloor (email hidden)ry nice!!!!

If I'm going back to Tromso I always would love to stay again in Ane Maries house.
Thanks a lot for everything and also for the best auora tour recommendation with andrei ((website hidden)).

  • We enjoyed our three nights in this lovely house in the artic and even though we didnt meet Ane she gave us access to her kitchen and provided us with all the information we needed during our winter trip.

  • L'accoglienza e la colazione preparata da Ane Marie sono speciali. L'aurora boreale ha illuminato il cielo sopra la sua casa. Vacanza indimenticabile!

  • I booked Ane Marie's room for our holiday in Tromso because I wanted to experience living in a real Norwegian home. Her house was even more beautiful in reality than it looked from the photos! A fairytale home!
The house is only 10' walk from the centre (we walked slowely because of the snow on the road). The view of the city, sea and mountains from the dining room is stunning!
We enjoyed having breakfast in the dining room with amazing bread and homemade jam and Norwegian jazz music playing in the background.
Our room was warm and well furnished and equipped with mugs, kettle and coffee.
Thanks Ane Marie for being a great host!

  • Had a wonderful time at Ane Marie's! The location and one of the rooms offers a wonderful view of town from above. The room though small is very comfortable & cozy.
Ane Marie is very welcoming and extremely helpful and provided her own list of locations to visit and things to do in Tromso.
Her breakfasts were delicious, I particularly enjoyed the one on my birthday :)
All arrangements were easy to make with Ane Marie, I highly recommend.

  • My stay at Ane Marie an her fabulous house was a great time. The house is just great, and lovely decorated. It has a great view over the city of Tromsø!
Ane Marie is a wonderful host. She gave me some very tips for things I could do during my stay at Tromsø. She also prepared a wonderful breakfast in the morning with very delicious selfmade bread, jam, and juice!

  • We had a fabulous stay in Tromso. The house is lovely and in a great location with stunning views. Ane Marie was away for our visit, but she arranged for us to be greeted and handed the keys. She left out maps and information and checked-in via email regularly to make sure we were ok. I can’t wait to return. I recommend all visitors go on a tour with her friend Andrei, (website hidden) was very personal and great fun.

  • We had a lovely time in Tromso and Ane Marie’s house was the perfect location for our stay. You get picked up for most trips / attractions from the Radisson Hotel in the town, Ane’s house is less than 10 minute walk away so it is very easy. The Radisson and similar hotels in Tromso are pretty boring / basic standard and the same all over the world and so you could be staying anywhere. If you stay in Ane’s lovely house it gives you a greater feel of what it is like to live in Tromso. Ane and her husband are very friendly and welcoming and can give you good advice on what to do and how to get the most out of your holiday. I would strongly recommend Ane Marie's house if you are staying in Tromso.

  • We had a nice time visiting Ane Marie and her beautiful and lovely place in winter-Tromsø. Everything was taken care of in best manner, from breakfast-servings to heavy snow-shoveling:-). Our 6 months old son also enjoyed the stay.
We will return, if we get the chance to go to fantastic Tromsø again.

  • I enjoyed a lot staying at Ane Marie's house. She's a very nice and friendly hostess, always trying to make your stay as good as possible. She knows well the city and gives lots of tips of interesting places to visit and also of how to save money in that country when everything is so expensive to most of us. The room is very comfortable and cozy, with a beatiful view, and it's great having tea in those lovely chinese cups. The house is not far from the center, just 5 minutes walk, but way up in the return. I definitely recommend her house for everyone who intends to spend some time in Tromso.
