Newly remodeled 1940's cottage just 50 steps to the sand with fabulous beach and ocean views. Enjoy the ocean breeze from your front porch and watch people walk by. Go sunbathing and swimming, take a bike ride or a stroll on the beach, have a glass of wine and witness the most beautiful sunsets. We are located in a quiet residential neighborhood of Ocean Beach. This bright and cozy cottage has everything you'll need to feel at home.

The space
Our beach cottage provides an ideal environment for families, couples or solo travelers. The house has been totally remodeled and designer decorated throughout with art pieces and little touches to enhance your vacation experience.
The whole house is yours to enjoy as your home away from home. Guests may conveniently self-check-in using the assigned entry code provided prior to arrival. There is onsite parking in a single car garage located at the rear of the property.
The front yard has a sitting area for you to relax and enjoy the fresh ocean air and wonderful views of the ocean and coastline.
The backyard has a seating area and a Weber grill for barbecuing your favorite dishes.
Plan on preparing meals or snacks in a fully equipped kitchen that includes a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, blender, toaster and more. It is fully stocked with pots and pans as well as all standard kitchen supplies.
The living room has a comfortable Italian made sofa bed with high density memory foam mattress, two chairs and a 55” smart TV.
Full size kitchen is open to dining area with a dinette set for 5 people.
When it's time to call it a night, the guests can comfortably sleep on a queen-sized bed in the bedroom which has a walk-in closet and a 32" Smart TV. The pull out sofa in the living room can sleep two and a single bed can accommodate a fifth person and is stored in a closet. The bathroom has a bathtub with shower and is located next to the bedroom from which it is accessible.
For our infant guests we provide a pack n play, where your baby can comfortably sleep or play and a high chair to make mealtimes a breeze. Little toddlers will enjoy playing with the sand toys on the beach. If you have any free time left you'll find all kind of games for all ages in the living room.
The cottage has a heater and air conditioning.
A washer and dryer are in a laundry room adjacent to the kitchen.
For your enjoyment we offer beach chairs, sun umbrella, boogie boards, kids beach toys and a small cooler.
The garage is located at the rear of the property and has alley access. There is a key pad on the garage wall to open the garage door. Tandem parking is not allowed if you bring two cars, you will need to find street parking for your second car. Garage dimensions:

Ocean Beach is conveniently located close to the San Diego airport. Although planes can be heard throughout the day, our guests don't find it bothersome. The planes only fly between the hours of 6:30 am and 11:30 pm, only departing planes fly over Ocean Beach area and they are relatively elevated. The cottage has double pane windows that reduce any noise to the minimum.

Ocean Beach is a coastal community located just northwest of downtown San Diego and has close proximity to the airport.
In Ocean Beach almost everything is within close walking distance. Newport Avenue which is three blocks from our cottage is the main street and has numerous stores, cafes, restaurants, bars and antique shops. The Ocean Beach Pier is the longest of its kind on the west coast and is right there for you to take a stroll and observe the surfers riding the waves, fisherman trying to catch their dinner and a nice café towards the end of the pier. Every Wednesday from 4:00 - 8:00 pm is the OB Farmer's Market where you can taste food treats, pick fresh cut flowers, locally grown veggies and fruit along with live entertainment.
