The room Chefchaouen is located on the 1st floor of the Riad, a typical house in the Medina of Marrakech, in the heart of a very popular area where you'll meet Moroccans in their daily lives.
By staying with us you will be at 5 minutes from the souks and at 15 minutes from Jemaa El Fna square and you will discover the Moroccan and their generosity.
In the center of the riad, you can enjoy the freshness of the swimming pool after a day walking and discovering Marrakech and its treasures.
In winter, enjoy the incredible view from the terrace, on the snowy peaks of the Atlas.

The communication with Cécile was very nice, she even organized a taxi shuttle for us within a few hours. That's it on the good side.
As for the riad itself, we were very disappointed. We booked and prefered it over other accomodations mainly because of its pool...which was not even filled with water....! This was not mentioned once and is simply outrageous. Our room on the first floor with own bathroom was okay. But in a room with three single beds you could at least expect a door seperating the sleeping area from the toilet/shower... except if you want to watch your buddies while doing their business. The communication with the staff was difficult since their english/french was not the best respectively we never met Cécile personally. We couldn't order dinner at 3pm because it being to late. The housekeeper couldn't explain us the directions to the next supermarket. Last but not least... the breakfast. Dry bread, some marmelade, tea & coffee. Don't expect any orange juice or fruits even tho you get them at every corner for almost nothing. Comparing the riad to other accomodations in Morocco for 1/4 of the price, I could never recommend others to stay here! (I usually don't judge that hard, but well... We were obviously very disappointed)
the listing is accurate; the neighborhood is nice and quiet though a little far the main square, the hosts are nice and friendly, the riad is clean and cozy though chilly because there is no heating except the air conditioning which makes it relatively warm, the wi-fi is only on the ground floor.
i recommend to get a transfer from the airport because some taxi drivers have problems with finding the riad's location.
The listing was accurate. My cousins and I stayed in the Chefchaouen. The room was lovely and the sheets were warm and cozy. Breakfast was extremely authentic Moroccan and delicious. The Riad was pleasant but a little chilly due to the November weather. I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the MEDINA. For those who would like to visit Morocco it would be best to research the Medina and get an idea of the area before booking your stay. The medinas are very not as modern as the newer city.
My husband and one of our friends travelled to Marrakech for a very short two day period, and we were delighted to find this place. We arrived in the city around 6:00am after a very long night train. Youssef was incredibly hospitable. He let us in our rooms well before our check in time. Throughout our stay, he gave us wonderful directions and tips. Couldn't have asked for a better riad! The pool was pretty darn cold, but after a day in the souks it was perfect. Also, the rooftop terrace was gorgeous. Couldn't have asked
For a better place to stay!
