A large spacious home a short stroll to the river and the River Vu room has views to the river overlooking the pool. It is relaxing, quiet and comfy.
Our listing is a large renovated modern spacious home just 3 minutes’ walk to the river foreshore, restaurants and café s. The area is a fairly affluent suburb 3.9 km from central Fremantle and 16 km from Perth city.
This RIVER VIEW ROOM is large bright & airy room (2.8 mtr. ceilings with ornate cornices) with a very comfy orthopaedic queen bed, a large desk and office chair, TV in room, drawers, ample robes, bedside table and lamps, large mirror/dressing table, and occasional chair for reading or other. You have VIEWS to the river and overlooking the pool.
The bathroom is spacious and may be shared if other guests.
What makes this place special is the location alongside the beautiful Swan river and native reserves in the enviable riverside location of East Fremantle, between Fremantle and Bicton. The area offers recreational foreshore areas, natural limestone cliff formations and a very large reserve area. Walking and cycling paths meander along the Swan River foreshore. Tennis Courts and Point Walter Public Golf Course are literally ‘up the road’, situated hilltop capturing sweeping views of the Swan River.
FREMANTLE‚ known as 'Freo'‚ is Perth's port and maritime playground on the mouth of the Swan River located just a few minutes (by car) and 20 mins from Perth the capital . It has a lively street life‚ a thriving café culture (locally known as the cappuccino strip) and an alternative arts scene amidst the workings of a fully functional port. There is a thriving university life with Notre Dame University occupying many of the heritage buildings in central Fremantle.

•LAUNDRY and clothes line is available for stays of 3 days or more (machine+ w/powder $2.00 p/load).
Interaction with Guests
We look forward to meeting you and are here to welcome you and help where we can. We mainly use separate areas of the house so we offer our guests as much privacy as possible.
We enjoy active guests who like to explore everything Perth and Fremantle has to offer.
There are popular bars, café's, and restaurants close by the house on the water front along with 2 Yacht Clubs. Sometimes if you are lucky YOU CAN SEE DOLPHINS when walking along the river side. Swans, ducks and pelicans are a regular feature of the river scape along with Yachts and boats etc. There is also Tennis Courts just down the road.
THERE ARE MANY ACTIVITIES AND THINGS OF INTEREST: Brochures and information on many activities/timetables are available in the house. There are quite a number of restaurants, bars and coffee shops within reasonable walking distance. I HAVE A WHOLE LIST (WITH AUTO LINKS) OF THINGS YOU COULD CONSIDER DOING SO IF YOU WOULD LIKE ME TO SEND IT TO YOU LET ME KNOW.
TRANSPORT near the house- There is a bus service to Fremantle or Perth city centre that runs during the day (3 min walk) or another that runs late into the night 1.3 km (12 mins walk).
We are next to the river, beach and Fremantle. Perth City Centre is a short (30 min) bus &/or train trip away. So you have the best of both within easy reach. You can enjoy the quirky atmosphere of Fremantle, take long riverside walks or go to the beach 5 mins away by car.
TRANSPORT from Airport. There is now a bus from the airport. A Taxi from the airport is approximately $55-$60 depending on time of day and terminal. Where it is possible for us we can pick you up from Fremantle train station.
Other Things to Note
Air-conditioning is an evaporative system regulated for whole of house.

We would appreciate some general information about yourselves e.g. name, age, country of origin, (both guests), and purpose of your trip (e.g. work, holiday, family visit). We hope to meet you and provide you with a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

•No food permitted in bedrooms (we have storage for your food)
•Only current guests allowed on the property.
• We require a copy of ID on arrival.
•Smoking allowed in rear garden Pergola area only.
•Wifi (not unlimited) we have fair use policy and maybe subject to router maintenance overnight. We accept no responsibility for loss of connection that is out of our control.
•Non return of keys is charged @ $50 to replace lock and all keys
