I was passing through Taroudant again so stopped for a night - see previous review. A++
Said Randigaba is one of the most humble and giving people I've met. I stayed for 4 nights rather than one, and another couple there at the same time stayed longer too. His English, although self taught is the best I've heard in morocco and his music taste is brilliant - and nothing I was expecting to hear on my trip. A stones throw outside he medina wall with a roof terrace, hammock etc, he's also very welcoming for information locally as well as for travelling. Plan to stay again before my trip home.
I highly recommend staying at Dar Randigaba to anyone, who would like to visit Taroudannt. It`s authentic moroccon style with a modern twist and very fairly priced.
Taroudannt is a quite facinating city worthwhile a longer stay than only one or two nights.
Said himself is a phenomenon and probably the most valuable person you could possibly run into in Taroudannt. Fatimas cuisine is better than most of the local restaurants.
I chose not to write anything in Dar Randigabas Guestbook, thinking i might aswell do that next time. Because i definitely intend to return. Inshallah.
Staying at Dar Randigaba was a great experience. The single room is actually bigger than it looks in the photo, as its longer so plenty of space for your stuff.
The place has a very relaxed atmosphere and the roof terrasse a teriffic place to chill.
Said is an interresting and chatty host, who seems to do everything to make his guest feel welcomed and happy. And he makes absolutely amazing tajines.
I was given a tour of Taroudant with some help in the souks, taken out for a much appriciated pizza one night, and given a glimpse of the real Morocco when having dinner with his family one night.
Id never change this experience for a stay in a luxury hotel, and will def go back one day!
Dar Randigaba is in a great location. Just outside the walls, it is just a 10 minute stroll to the main square where you can drink tea and watch the whole of Taroudant go to and fro. But it's a quite location, away from the main road, and although it's close to the town's tanneries, it's not near enough for you to smell them! We (my son and I) were made very welcome when we arrived, and it was easy to find a place to park right outside. My son was in the twin room, which is a bright, airy room with shelves to hold your stuff. I was in the the single room; its window opens up onto the lounge and so isn't as light, but both rooms were comfortable. We shared a loo and a shower between us (the double room has its own, en-suite), and these were spotlessly clean, as was the whole house. We stayed in January and were plenty warm enough, although we needed to put on a jumper or a jacket in the evenings and early mornings. The lounge is bright, and comfortably laid out. It acts as the focal centre of the place: it is where Said served breakfast (fresh orange juice, wonderful coffee, crepes, and bread with fava beans or jam and honey) and would just sit and chat with Said and other guests. The roof's also a nice place to spend time: we had a couple of evening meals there under the stars. It's completely secluded. Said is a wonderful host: friendly, open, interesting, helpful and generous. He knows everyone in Taroudant and everything to do and see, and was there to help when we needed him but also gave us space to do our own thing too. We had a wonderful time!
I really enjoyed my stay at Dar Randigada in Taroudant. Said is a cool guy who is always friendly, respectful and helpful and he is a great guy to talk to (his English is just perfect!). I immediately felt at home at his place where most of the time some nice music is playing ☺
The place was very clean, the room not that big but just perfect for a single traveller and I was also able to use his kitchen and do some washing of my clothing. The breakfast was also very nice with freshly squeezed orange juice, pancakes, fresh bread and jam en some tea or coffee.
The rooftop is also a nice place to hang out (or lie I the hammock
Randigaba is the most generous, attentive host I've encountered on airbnb. His place feels like a full-service bed and breakfast -- nice breakfast and I noticed that he was always available to answer questions and help with anything that his guests might need. Very impressive. I stayed in the simply-furnished single room, which has a very comfortable mattress. The whole house has a nice "energy" for just hanging out, reading, or working.

Dar Randigaba is situated just outside the walls of Taroudant, a friendly, laid back Berber market town less than an hour’s drive from Agadir.
This guest house is a comfortable, relaxed and fun place to stay while visiting Taroudant. With two floors, each with three double rooms, it can easily hold up to 6 people. In addition there is a terrace from which there is a beautiful view of both the High Atlas mountain range and the walls which run around Taroudant. The terrace is a great place to sleep if you want to try a night out under the stars.
A communal kitchen is available if guests wish to cook for themselves although full catering, including traditional Moroccan meals such as different types of Tagine, Couscous and fish dishes, cookery courses, can be provided upon request.
