The Space

The holiday apartment La Concha Suite is situated in the very heart of the city, close to La Concha Beach. This is the ideal location for those visiting San Sebastian who want to be within a pedestrian commercial area and at the same time close to the beach (see map).

La Concha Suite is a bright and modern vacation apartment with a perfect layout. It is a wonderful holiday accommodation fully equipped for four people. It has a large open plan lounge-dining area with a kitchenette. Thanks to the big windows and the open plan design there is a feeling of spaciousness and brightness all around.

The dining area next to the lounge is ideal for organizing real feasts. So after doing the shopping in the nearby charming market of San Martin, you will be able to prepare great meals for friends and family in the fully equipped modern kitchenette.

There is a TV, a DVD player, a CD player and a large collection of films and books in the lounge. There is also a 20 megabytes WI-FI Internet system.

In the bedroom, there is a king size double bed and a large fitted wardrobe. This is also a very bright room.

The bathroom is located between the bedroom and the lounge and it has a large shower cubicle.

This marvelous holiday accommodation enjoys double glazing all around the apartment, so it is sound proof to guarantee a noise free vacation.

Although La Concha Suite is the ideal vacation apartment to visit San Sebastian on foot or by bike, don’t worry if you bring a car because there is also the possibility to rent a parking space for 25 euros/day.

At La Concha Suite you will be able to enjoy all modern life comforts as it is a unique holiday apartment located at one of the best places in San Sebastian.

Zone description
San Sebastian’s centre, as it could be expected, represents the heart of the city. It is a very elegant area situated between La Concha Beach and the Urumea River. It borders on the Gros neighbourhood at East, on the Antiguo at West and on the Amara at South.

A great deal of shops and distinctive buildings are found in this area. Among these it is worth mentioning the Town Hall, the Victoria Eugenia Theatre or the Buen Pastor Cathedral.
Bars and restaurants spread out all around this area and if you would like to enjoy some typical pintxos, you can try any of them here. Or perhaps you prefer to pop-in in the Old Town, which is just a five minute stroll away.

La Concha, world famous beach and bay, stands out in this area for its natural beauty but also for the spectacular panoramic views from its promenade. At the same time, La Perla, a thalassotherapy centre pioneer in San Sebastian’s tourism since the beginning of the 20th Century is situated along this walk too.

The Miramar Palace appears as a natural frontier between the Antiguo, Aiete and the Centre neighbourhoods. This palace and its surrounding gardens facing the bay are like a banner for the city, as it was here where the former Royal Family used to spend their summer holidays at the beginning of the 20th Century. Thanks to these prestigious visitors San Sebastian became a very fashionable city among the elite tourism. Nowadays, the Miramar Palace houses the High School of Music of San Sebastian. You will enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the city and the bay from here.

Several supermarkets can be found in this area as well as one of the most attractive markets in the city, the San Martin market. Both, traditional and the latest shops are located in this store.
Very close to the city centre, at the entrance of the Old Town, there is another well-known market, La Bretxa. There is also a good combination of traditional and modern shops here, probably the most genuine market in the whole of San Sebastian.

A gorgeous route you may want to take is that going from La Concha to the harbour and from here to the Paseo Nuevo, all along the seaside. Parting from this Paseo Nuevo, you also may feel like going up to Urgull Mountain, just a 15 minute climb. And we can assure you that it will be worth it, as you will enjoy the most beautiful view of San Sebastian right from the top. Coming down from the Mountain, you get back to the Old Town and, after passing by the Town Hall, you will reach La Concha again.

If you come to visit the city by car, you will find that there are various public carparks in the city centre: La Concha, Boulevard, San Martín, Okendo, Amara and Buen Pastor.

Thanks to a modern and wide network of public transport, the Antiguo is very well connected to the other city neighbourhoods. For more information on public transport you can visit the official webpage: (website hidden)

  • Simple yet spacious flat in a great location literally on the doorstep of the beach and easy access to shops and the old town- no beach or street views and small balcony looks into shared courtyard

  • This is a great apartment for 2 people, but will fit 4 with the very comfortable sleeper couch. Unfortunately it is a one bedroom and the sleeper is in the living area so if it's out and in use, there's no room to walk at all. Beautifully done, great bathroom, but NO HOOKS ANYWHERE! No hooks for wet towels in the bathroom, only outside on the small terrace (really small) and if it's raining, nothing will dry soon. If you need anything, someone will come within hours to help you (towels, pillows, etc.). This was the best service of any of the apartment rental services we used on our trip. Location was great, 10 minutes tops into the Old City. Also had a good supply of closet space and HANGERS, thank you, and not the crappy metal hangers you get from the cleaners or flimsy plastic one. WOOD! HOT WATER FOR DAYS AS WELL!

All in all, a great stay but be warned, if you have two small kids no problem, two adults, it's just too small...

  • Super appart, idéal pour aller surfer. Balcon pour poser les planches et maximum 5 minutes à pieds de la plage en portant les planches. Quartier vivant et sympa.

  • Amazing location, nice view & amenities, can't do much better than this place for the price you pay. Would definitely recommend.

  • This was an excellent apartment - the location was fantastic, the communication with Juan and his team was ideal, and the fact that it had a great bathroom and a washing machine was an added bonus. This flat definitely felt more like a rental than a home, and everything was reliable - the internet, cable, suggestions from Juan, etc. This was also walking distance to all of the Pintxo bars in Old Town, the river (right across the street) and a short stroll from the beach.

  • Lovely apartment, very clean and quiet, great location. Thank you!

  • After a slight miscommunication on the address we met up with one of Juan Ramon's team and were really pleased with Araba Attic. It is quiet, bright, clean and modern. The bed is very comfortable and the flat was perfectly located for us. A short walk to the old quarter and beach and very close to the train station. We never figured out the stereo and would suggest some written instructions for the many "clickers" as well as a map with recommended markets would be a welcomed touch. The shower is really superb, and the kitchen is nicely appointed, however when we got there there were no basics provided ie no dish soap, and given our booking was 8 days It would have been nice to also have a couple more rolls of tp provided so we didn't need to purchase a full package.

  • Great apartment 3 blocks from the beach and a 10 minute walk to Parte Vieja where all the pintxo bars are. The apartment is quite spacious with a large living room and kitchen. The terrace is great. Juan and his coworkers were quick to respond to questions and requests. Definitely recommend this apartment

  • This apartment was just perfect for our group of 7. The rooms were very nicely styled - the pictures do them no justice! We also really appreciated having 3 bathrooms and showers.

The location was unbeatable, right in the old quarter near all the best pintxos and bars. It was also only a short walk from the ocean.

Juanra was the best host. He was in constant communication with us. He was so accommodating and told us about the best places to see and eat. Do not hesitate in booking this place, it will only make your experience of this gorgeous city even better.

  • My friends and I had a wonderful experience at Zurriola Terrace. Pictures were accurate and overnight parking was a quick 5-10 minute walk away. The bed was comfortable, the place was tidy, and the views we're stunning. If I find myself in San Sebastian again, I will surely stay here again!
