I live in Kerepes, which is a village 20 km far from Budapest. I live with my family ( with my wife and 2 sons ) in a house with big garden and with a swimming pool. The house is very huge with a spacious living room, and we have 4 rooms to rent.
Our home is just 2 minutes far from Hungary's racing circuit called „Hungaroring”, where the Formula One Hungarian Grand Prix is organized each year.
How to reach the city:
you can take the HEV (suburban railway) which drops you at Ors Vezer Square. This is the red metro line of Budapest (m2), from here only 4-5 stations, and you find yourself at the very downtown of the city. You can just get off at Blaha Lujza Square, Astoria, or Deak Square and start to explore the city by walking. You will find here the famous ruin bars of the city, the Dohany Street Synagogue, and Andrassy Avenue is also very close.
With the HEV you can have a nice trip to Gödöllő (15 minutes away), where lies the wonderful palace of Emperor Franz Josef and Queen Elizabeth, with a huge park.
I am a tour guide in German - If you have any questions, you can contact me any time.
We had a really good time in this place. Norbert was very nice with us, he showed us around the city with his car. His family is also very nice. The location is not so good, its like 40 min by train to get to the center, but Norbert really helped us with that. It was a good experience because we get to knew other places than the turistic ones on the center. We recomend to o there. The room was very spacious.
