Moneo is situated in one of San Sebastiáns prime locations, 100 metres from Zurriola beach and the spectacular Kursaal convention centre and concert hall, and only 200 metres from Old Town.
The apartment is located on the sixth floor of a Belle Epoch style building with elevator and was completely refurbished two years ago. Moneo features quality furniture and is decorated mainly in white and beige tones, lending the apartment a light and airy atmosphere. It is well insulated from outside noise and offers everything youll need for a fabulous and comfortable holiday experience.
Moneo has one bedroom with double bed with a large adjacent dressing room. The kitchen opens on to the dining area giving the apartment a sense of spaciousness. The kitchen is fully fitted with all modern appliances and wares. The apartment also features a small balcony overlooking a small interior courtyard.
Moneo is only a five-minute walk from the citys best known beach, La Concha. Another highly recommended walk is up Monte Urgull at the foot of the old city, or around the Paseo Nuevo seaside promenade with views to the waters of the Bay of Biscay, then down the stairs to the fishing port and back again to the city's Old Town.
The apartment includes WIFI ADSL Internet connection and free phone calls anywhere within Spain for visitors who need to mix their holidays with a bit of work.
There is parking available 5 minutes walk from the apartment for 13€/day.
The Urumea River separates Gros from the Old Town and from the City Centre by two different bridges, giving it an obvious closeness to them. It borders on the Bay of Biscay at North, on the Ulia Mountain at East and on the Urumea River and the Kursaal Convention Centre at West.
La Zurriola Beach, the newest of them all in San Sebastian, is located in this neighbourhood. It is very popular among surf lovers and professional surfers and it is also just a five minute stroll away from La Concha Beach.
At the end of the promenade along La Zurriola, at the side of the Ulia Mountain, there is an area of houses, pintxo bars and pubs called Sagües. It is a favourite spot among young people. There is also a great esplanade and leisure activity area here.
There are lots of shops all around Gros and in the last few years, it has become a very popular area for those in search of good quality pintxo bars and pubs. However, if what you are looking for is to follow a complete route of typical pintxos, it is a must to finish in the Old Town, just a 7 minute stroll from Gros.
There are some wonderful walks to be enjoyed from Gros to other parts of the city. For instance, starting at Sagües and walking all along La Zurriola promenade until you reach the Paseo Nuevo, a magic place when the Cantabrian Sea is rough. From here you can go up the Urgull Mountain, a mere 15-20 minute climb, then come down to the harbour and from there back again to the Old Town and Gros. A trully enjoyable all around walk.
The Gros neighbourhood has several supermarkets and other grocery shops for those of you who prefer to enjoy a more intimate dinner at the apartment.
If you are visiting the city by car, you should know there are three large public car parks in the area: Plaza de Cataluña, Kursaal and Txofre.
Thanks to a modern and wide network of public transport, the Antiguo is very well connected to the other city neighbourhoods. For more information on public transport you can visit the official webpage: (website hidden)

Todo muy bien! Es un a apartamento perfecto para pasar unos días en San sebastian. Todo muy limpio y cerca de cualquier lugar.
Moneo was the perfect place for a beach holiday. 5 minutes to the beach and city centre. The lively old town where all the pintxos are is less than 10 minutes walk away. All emails were answered by Juan Ramon promptly and professionally. The apartment was clean and the wifi super efficient. Highly recommended.
My husband and I loved the apartment's proximity to Zurriola beach. Like another reviewer mentioned, the bed was a little smaller than we were used to, but we enjoyed the apartment overall. The apartment was very clean and the hot water in the shower was excellent after a day at the beach. The old fashioned elevator in the building was particularity nice, as the apartment is on the top floor.
Awesome stay! Super helpful. Got into apartment early and even organised the delivery of our lost luggage from the airport. Great spot, close to everything!
Price is low considering its peak season in San Sebastián. Small bed could barely fit my husband and I so be prepared to lay very close to each other. Otherwise it's a clean place, hot water worked well. No AC, but a fan that circulates air well. The windows all face indoor corridors and you can hear everything your neighbors do or say. Place was good enough for a few days. Overall nice and hosts were nice.
Great stay - the apartment was ideally located, close to the beach and the old town. Juan was really responsive to emails and happy to assist with queries. Recommended.
We stayed at Moneo's flat for 7 nights in the last week of August. Although the weather wasn't perfect, we had an amazing time. The flat's location is just perfect, specially for us that wanted to give surfing a try.
The area was not as touristic as the old town and had some delicious bars and restaurants nearby.
The apartment was clean, tidy and very comfortable. We were met at the property by Alessandro who some time with us giving some valuable tips on where to go and what to do...
I couldn't recommend this flat more!
