About this listing
This holiday accommodation is located on the first floor of a classic style building which has recently been renovated. It is in the very centre of San Sebastian, opposite La Concha Beach, in the area known as Miraconcha.
This is a modern 55 sq. m. vacation apartment. The high ceilings and large windows help to create a light and spacious atmosphere. It faces a tranquil garden.
This holiday apartment has a double bedroom with a king size bed, fitted wardrobes and a complete bathroom.
Thanks to the sofa bed found in the lounge, Laket can accommodate up to 3 people.
The open-plan well distributed lounge-dining room is a truly comfortable area, with high ceilings and modern furniture; while the fully equipped kitchenette presents a breakfast bar into it.
This vacation apartment is located in a really exclusive area of San Sebastian, opposite the famous La Concha bay, just 200 metres away from the city centre: so quiet and yet so close to the lively centre. At the same time, there is nothing to be missed: a supermarket and a bar just a few steps away, and further down, about 300 metres away, more shops, bars and restaurants.
However, the strong point of Laket is its breathtaking location. Not only you will be just next to La Concha Beach, but also you will be right in the beginning of two wonderful walks. To the left, you will be able to walk through the Miramar Palace onto Ondarreta Beach and finish by the Peine del Viento famous sculpture. And to the right, always walking along this outstanding promenade, you will end up on the Old Town, the harbour , or even the Aquarium.

San Sebastian’s centre, as it could be expected, represents the heart of the city. It is a very elegant area situated between La Concha Beach and the Urumea River. It borders on the Gros neighbourhood at East, on the Antiguo at West and on the Amara at South.
A great deal of shops and distinctive buildings are found in this area. Among these it is worth mentioning the Town Hall, the Victoria Eugenia Theatre or the Buen Pastor Cathedral.
Bars and restaurants spread out all around this area and if you would like to enjoy some typical pintxos, you can try any of them here. Or perhaps you prefer to pop-in in the Old Town, which is just a five minute stroll away.
La Concha, world famous beach and bay, stands out in this area for its natural beauty but also for the spectacular panoramic views from its promenade. At the same time, La Perla, a thalassotherapy centre pioneer in San Sebastian’s tourism since the beginning of the 20th Century is situated along this walk too.
The Miramar Palace appears as a natural frontier between the Antiguo, Aiete and the Centre neighbourhoods. This palace and its surrounding gardens facing the bay are like a banner for the city, as it was here where the former Royal Family used to spend their summer holidays at the beginning of the 20th Century. Thanks to these prestigious visitors San Sebastian became a very fashionable city among the elite tourism. Nowadays, the Miramar Palace houses the High School of Music of San Sebastian. You will enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the city and the bay from here.
Several supermarkets can be found in this area as well as one of the most attractive markets in the city, the San Martin market. Both, traditional and the latest shops are located in this store.
Very close to the city centre, at the entrance of the Old Town, there is another well-known market, La Bretxa. There is also a good combination of traditional and modern shops here, probably the most genuine market in the whole of San Sebastian.
A gorgeous route you may want to take is that going from La Concha to the harbour and from here to the Paseo Nuevo, all along the seaside. Parting from this Paseo Nuevo, you also may feel like going up to Urgull Mountain, just a 15 minute climb. And we can assure you that it will be worth it, as you will enjoy the most beautiful view of San Sebastian right from the top. Coming down from the Mountain, you get back to the Old Town and, after passing by the Town Hall, you will reach La Concha again.
If you come to visit the city by car, you will find that there are various public carparks in the city centre: La Concha, Boulevard, San Martín, Okendo, Amara and Buen Pastor.
Thanks to a modern and wide network of public transport, the Antiguo is very well connected to the other city neighbourhoods. For more information on public transport you can visit the official webpage: (website hidden)

The apartment was beautiful and in a perfect location. We loved being right by the beach. It was close to the action but super quiet! It matched the description perfectly. It was easy to get the keys and communication was great. We will definitely return to San Sebastián!
Picked up keys at the friendly central office. Apartment was simple and clean. Good location as we wanted to be by the beach rather than in the old town. That said, old town is a pleasant 15 min stroll along the prom. A very good experience .
Juan was very responsive throughout our trip. He scheduled our pickup and drop off from Biarritz airport to San Sebastian which was convenient and the cheapest price I could find. We missed our initial flight and as we checked in at 11 pm we were charged an extra $40 which was fair. The apartment is in a great location right next to La Concha beach. It is clean and modern. The bed is a queen size bed. The weather was warm and without air conditioning it was extremely hot in the apartment although there is an oscillating fan to keep the bedroom cool at night. Juan and his team booked us taxis to various restaurants and as stated they were extremely helpful and responsive. I would definetely stay here again although perhaps a few more fans would be helpful.
A nice modern apartment with a view over a tranquil flowering garden. We had all our breakfasts sitting on the doorstep (no furniture on the balcony) to the small balcony enjoying the sun rising and the nice view of the garden. The kitchen utensils were ok if you were'nt too elaborate in your cooking. Perfectly ok for our needs though. And we were very happy to find the luxury of a dishwasher in the kitchen. There was enough space in the apartment for three persons. But since the sofa were used as bed for our teenage daughter and never folded together during daytime..., we somewhat lacked comfortable chairs to relax in beside the kitchen chairs. To use the sofa as a bed for nearly two weeks was'nt all that good, since it didn't have the same comfortable mattres as the beds in the separate bedroom. The wi-fi worked perfectly and we used it a lot. The apartment was perfectly located in a quieter area of the city, right across the street from La Concha beach with it's beautiful promenade and with a small supermarket next door which was perfect enough for our needs. We could easily stroll in to the old Town, to the shopping area or to the other beaches. Juan arranged a comfortable, smooth and reasonably priced transfer from Biarritz Airport, which was great when we arrived late and no public transport was available to San Sebastian at that hour. The contact with Juan couldn't be better. He responded promptly to all our messages before and during our stay.
Great apartment right by La Concha. If you want to be near the beach, this is perfect.
