Our small single room in a very large flat, the breakfast is included (mainly organic), very good wi-fi connection. I work at home and can give you informations and maps of Brussels and Saint-Gilles
Nice small B&B single room, with a balcony on a backyard, very quiet ( you can hear the birds singing in the morning ), at the bottom of a large flat (200m2) fully renovated, with much character ( the owner is a designer ).
The flat is on the second floor of the house with a lift. Brand new mattrass, very comfortable.
The flat was a few times rented for movies !
The area is very fashioned in Brussels, but the street is very quiet, close to the Midi TGV station, many restaurants, shops, nice market every day, park at the bottom of the street...The flat is fully equiped, with wi-fi...
The bathroom is common with the family (a couple with a teenager).
The breackfast is included (mainly organic), in the large kitchen/dining-room.
Sheets and bath sheets included.
The family speeks english, dutch, italian...and can give you with pleasure a lot of informations about Brussels.
We are close to every plublic transport, (15 min.walking from the TGV station) and you can easily reach the center with the bus, tramway, metro, or even walking ( half an hour of a nice walk )
You can arrive here from the airport with the train to the Midi station. Then you can come walking, or with the tram 4 or 3 to "Horta"(5min.walk from here)
Access to the kitchen.
Nous attendons un invité calme, et respectueux de ses hôtes.
L'appartement est non-fumeurs, et la salle de bains est partagée.
We are waiting for a quiet and respectful guest.
The flat is non-smoker, and the bathroom is shared.
Sejour tres agréable dans le grand appartement d Anne et de sa petite famille. La chambre est mignonne, et la localisation est tout a fait pratique pour visiter Bruxelles et ses alentours. Tres bien recu.
Anne has been a great host: kind, always keen to help.
She gave me a map and explained what was the best way to get to different places.
I loved the breakfast, tasty and healthy.
The house is beautiful and clean (even the bathroom), the location is great (walking distance from bars, restaurants and metro station), maybe the room is little smaller than how it looks in the picture.
Definitely I would recommend.
Really nice room in a good area. Easily accessible by public transport. Anne was a very kind and welcoming host, and provided suggestions for things to do in Brussels. Highly recommended.
I had a great time in Belgium. Anne and her family is really friendly and helping. I slept very well everyday, which is quite important for a traveler. Sant-Gilles is a lovely neighborhood, I love pique-nique at the park of Porte de Halle. :) Also got a chance to visit other Belgian cities such as Bruges, Antwerp, and Gent. They are quite accessible by taking (email hidden)-Midi, which is kind of close to the house.
Nice stay with Anne and her family. :)
Anne and her family are so welcoming and kind. They make you feel like one of the family. The breakfast is a perfect size, the room is very clean, and so is the bathroom. It is a 30 minute walk to the city center but it is a nice quiet neighborhood. I preferred this rather than being right in the center. I would absolutely recommend Anne's place to anyone traveling to Brussels!
Thanks so much, Anne! It was my first air b&b experience. And it was great! The room is exactly as it is in the photo, with Anne's nice painting. Well-Equipped bathroom, neat and clean. Cozy living room with a guitar :), feeling like home. Her husband is really brilliant, with a knowledge about everything. Nice hosting, nice conversations, nice wine, nice beer, nice breakfast.
Definitely go back to Anne if I am once again in brussels.
The room is exactly like what is shown in the picture. Anne is very accommodating. After hearing my plan to Bruges the next day, she provided a map of Bruges (on the first day she provided me maps of Brussels). Breakfast is good too, it saves my trouble to look for another cafe for a light breakfast.
It's a beautiful room for one person. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Brussels.
I am a designer, working at home for advertising. I like to host people from all over the world, and explain them my town, which I know very (website hidden) is a town that you wouldn't regret to discover for a few days.
