This is one of the few places in the area with free parking.
We have decided to share with you our 52-year old recently-retrofitted Main House, Cabins and a newer Kampong House (total 18 pax maximum) within a fruit orchard so that you and your loved ones can enjoy a serene getaway. Take a dip in the Semungkis river just a few steps away from our al fresco kitchen, or cook your meals using our organic vegetables. Embrace the great outdoors and the feel of camping, but in three comfortable properties, only 30 minutes away from the KL City Centre.

The space
We have beds for 18 people. The maximum number of guests that we allow is 20 including children/infants.

When you stay here, these 3 homes are available for you:

The Main House - 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, 1 outdoor bath and one sleepable balcony, can accomodate 6-8 adults (air-conditioned rooms, fans at balcony).
The Cabins - 2 cabins, 2 baths, sleeps up to 8 adults (air-conditioned).
The Kampong House - 2 bedrooms, 1 outdoor bath, can accommodate 2-4 adults (air-conditioned).

The Semungkis river, which is not part of the more famous nearby picnic areas, flows immediately behind the house, literally a few steps away from our al fresco kitchen. The private bathing area consists of two parts which is the kids' swimming area and the deep end (1.6m deep) for adults which also acts as a natural jacuzzi. We also have a farm-to-table concept and grow our own organic vegetables for your consumption on site. There is a BBQ pit available for guests to use (please bring your own charcoal and lighter).

The Jalan Kampung Sungai Semungkis is a cul-de-sac and is a quiet favourite track for jogging and cycling. When available, you may also go cycling on one of our bicycles in the morning or evening.

For nature lovers and especially bird watchers, we have the Oriental Dollarbird, Common Flameback Woodpecker, Oriental Magpie Robin, Oriental Dollarbird, Pale-bellied Myna, and on occasions in the first quarter of the year- the Wallace's Hawk Eagle.

For stargazers, being a distance away from the bright city lights will allow you to see the heavenly adornments, as well as the seasonal meteor showers clearly.

Guest access
All parts except the Manager's parking and the Workers Quarters.

Other things to note
We provide complimentary breakfast (EXCEPT DURING RAMADAN) and towels for the number of registered guests as per your booking. Unfortunately, we are not truly wheelchair-friendly.

My wife Jasmeen and I love to travel to quaint places and have stayed from bed and breakfast homestays all the way to six star hotels. All we require are good and friendly hosts as well as clean accommodation. As Muslims we don't eat pork but we don't mind what religion the host is or if he/she has a dog or dogs as pets. Our favourite destinations include Scotland, Central Siberia, an old village in England called Winslow, Thailand, Bali and local destinations such as Tioman, Perhentian, Langkawi, Penang, Mount Jerai, Fraser's Hill, Batu Pahat, Muar, Kuala Kangsar, Miri, Kuching, Lawas, Kota Kinabalu Mabul, Ba'Kelalan. Food-wise we are quite relaxed as long as no pork or exotic animals are involved.
