  • We thoroughly enjoyed this place which was PERFECT with a toddler! The fenced in yard with lots of nature for my little one to explore was amazing. She loved following the gravel paths, crossing the bridge, climbing up and down the deck stairs, everything! And the adults LOVED the fire pit to unwind by in the evenings and the gourmet kitchen and outdoor grill to prepare our 4th of July meals in. The whole trip was so relaxing. It really felt like you were in the woods getting away from it all which is exactly what we'd hoped for! John was super easy to get in touch with in case of questions and we can't wait to go back!

  • John was a good host, quick to respond and available for any other questions. They've done a good job with the design inside the cabin, and the place had everything we needed. This would be a really fun place to bring a group of friends/family if you're mostly going to spend mornings/evenings hanging out around the house, BBQ-ing, and sleeping. If you're the type who wants to spend all your time in Big Bear Lake, note that this place is about 15-20 minutes away, which can make for a lot of driving if you need to swing back "home" for any reason.

  • John was very friendly and helpful. He responded promptly to the emails and provided very helpful information for the area especially since I am not too familiar with it. He sent me lists of restaurants, entertainment, things to do and places to see with links and addresses. The house was exactly as pictured. There were information left in the house on what to do when leaving and how to use Netflix in the house. The neighborhood was quiet and people walking by were very friendly.

  • This place is wonderful! We were able to book at the last minute and John was available fast and prompt ... The cabin was very accommodating to anything you might need ( which comes in handy with a family) it is extremely cozy (My wife would say dreamy) There are lots of extra blankets and the best little touches like scrabble and other board games to bring people together ( off electronics) but also has wifi which comes in handy if you have business to attend to ... I could go on and on about this place ... But just book a vacation and see for yourself! :) Everything was perfect and we will definitely be back !!! Thank you John for this place with our family our kids had the time if their lives!!

  • I took my boyfriend and a couple friends to John's cabin for my boyfriend's birthday as a surprise and we all loved it! It was very cute, comfortable, and had everything that we needed. It was just outside of town and close to the lake so it was in a great location. John was very nice and easy to get ahold of and quickly answered any questions that I had. I would absolutely stay here again or any other place that John has available!

  • Thank you John for your beautiful cabin! It was very cozy w/ a fireplace inside and campfire outside. We had a great time w/ our family and loved that we can use the kitchen. It was only a ten minute drive to the slopes so that was plus :) We hope to come back soon
