Holliday & King AirBnB is a great option for families or a group of friends who want to get away and enjoy small town life. Located in the center of Strasburg's historic district, it is close to small restaurants, a brewery and shopping. Strasburg is the gateway to the Shenandoah Valley. The house itself is part of the Town's history, built in 1761 the year Strasburg was chartered. Enjoy large rooms, high ceilings and a lovely porch where you can watch activity in the town. PETS WELCOME!

The space
The first floor has a sitting room, game room and a large dining room to fit your whole group. Each bedroom has it's own thermostat to ensure personal comfort. Our favorite part of the house is the large front porch, which can be enjoyed rain or shine. As you wander this large and gracious house think about what it has seen for the past 250 years.

Guest access
Our guests have access to the entire house, with the exception of the basement and attic. Access to the basement is outside and access to the attic is from the second floor. Neither of these areas easilyaccomodates people.

Other things to note
You are in a small town and one of our interesting features is the fire department siren. The fire department is only a half block away, so you will hear it. The siren calls in the volunteers who keep us safe. It will last no more than 90 seconds, but will be loud. Four bursts of the siren means there has been an accident on I-81. It is not a siren for tornadoes or bad weather.

Hi we go by Kath and Tom and have over 40 years together. We came to Strasburg in late 2017 after living in Northern Virginia for 40 years. We are both retired and now enjoy volunteer work and exploring the area. We could not have been more excited when this gem went on the market. It allows us to be part of the Town's history and we are excited about sharing the house and the town with others!
