The Townhouse is on the Uncompahgre River with two balconies for the three bedrooms facing the river. From the third balcony, on the east side where the living room and kitchen are located, you can see Mt. Abrams to the south of Ouray(shown in the photo). The townhouse has 2 fireplaces, one in the living room and the other in the master bedroom, which is upstairs (The other two bedrooms are downstairs). Gas is provided to each fireplace so the wood is easily lit. You simply turn the gas on, light the burner, and place the wood in the fireplace. After the wood is burning, you turn the gas off.
The area provides some of the most spectacular scenery in the U.S. Ouray provides excellent views, hiking, ice climbing at Box Canyon Falls, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, ice skating, sledding, soaking in the natural year round outdoor hot springs, nature watching, cycling, mountain biking, shops, and restaurants.
