The space
Mahalo! Welcome to the famous 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom Tiki House of Little Tuscany in Palm Springs.

Unmistakable thanks to its geometric yellow and orange tropical triangles that adorn the facade, your desert getaway awaits you with a trip back in tiki time.

Tiki totems greet you at the orange front doors that usher you into an entrance courtyard where orange overhead beams give the feeling of a Bali-style lanai on LSD.

Enter and you’ll see all the retro flair that’s been married up perfectly to modern conveniences, all within an explosion of colors, patterns and fabrics that deliver a totally tiki fun and retro vibe.

Mid-Century treasures abound with an enviable collection of finds sourced from some of the local vintage markets, while art featured comes from luminaries such as Salvador Dali, Peter Max, Olan and Palm Springs’ own famous Shag.

The lounge features its unique pair of bright yellow sofas giving the feeling of sitting on a tropical beach, while “googly eye” wallpaper will make you feel like you’ve had too many Pina Coladas even before you’ve started to make yourself a cocktail!

The kitchen comes straight out of the Brady Bunch with orange and green laminex leading the color charge, and of course there are plenty of tiki mugs to choose from.

In fact, the number of crazy cool glasses to drink from is probably only outdone by the amazing selection of wallpaper on offer in each and every room. It’s a genuine trip back to the mid-century era that you don’t want to miss, all styled by designer Tracy Turco.

Outdoors there are more tiki totems to keep the bad juju away, plus a tiki hut to get under and stay cool while avoiding the desert sun. Or else stretch out on the lounge with a Dark ’n’ Stormy, before you set sail for the heated pool and spa.

The Mai Tai Master Suite
Be the big kahuna in your king bed within your Mai Tai Master complete with eye catching wallpaper and the ‘Mod Tiki’ bed covers designed by Tracy Turco herself. There’s a full size closet plus you can Indulge in your own colorful ensuite bathroom with its golden clamshell basin.

The Zombie Twin Suite
One for the teens, or those yet to grow up, The Zombie Twin Suite features two twin beds in a very retro cool L-shaped formation with Tracy’s own ‘Flower Power’ bed covers. There’s a groovy bathroom right across the hallway that features crazy wallpaper and equally crazy floor tile too, plus a tropical forest green shower.

The Singapore Sling Suite
Sail away to the tropics with a queen bed covered in the Tracy Turco-designed ‘Pop Art Tiki’ bed linen. You can also live it up with your own ensuite bathroom featuring a very retro and original step-down roman bath and shower combo.

The Tiki House is located in Little Tuscany in the north end of Palm Springs. You’re right near great vintage shopping at places like Gypsyland, Melody Note Vintage and Modernway. It’s just minutes away from Palm Canyon Drive and from there you have access to the best bars, restaurants and shops that Palm Springs has to offer. Best coffee a few blocks away at Cartel coffee shop.
