Alberto was the perfect host. Arrival time was flexible and he was generous with his time in showing my wife around his property. His breakfasts were very tasty and filling, with most of his table coming from his own garden. If in Tuscany again we will return to Alberto's place.
Alberto was very friendly and a most welcoming host. He made accommodations for our arrival, the room was spacious, and the view from the property was fantastic. He made suggestions for sightseeing, and made reservations at ideal restaurants in Orvieto for us. The stay was very memorable and relaxing. We recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy an agriturismo bed'n'breakfast in Umbria, Italy. We will make plans to return if we can for sure.
Alberto's home is absolutely beautiful! The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Alberto was kind enough to pick us up from the rental car office and drive us to the train station at the end of our stay. We will definitely be back to stay at Alberto's beautiful home.
Alberto and his wife, Lisabetta, were wonderful hosts and our experience at their home was fabulous! Alberto picked us up at the rail station, and drove us downtown again the next day so we could pick up our rental car. He is understandable very proud of their home, and how lucky for us they have chosen to share it. We toured his gardens and fruit groves, and had delicious homemade preserves on our toast at breakfast. The second evening they cooked us a delicious meal which had several courses of fresh vegetables from their garden. Yummy! The location to the old city is simply a walk up the road, which you access from the garden gate. Beware, it's a steep climb. Alberto gave us a flashlight to find our way back in the dark, and even said to call him and he would pick us up if we had too much vino! We can't say enough good things about our stay with Alberto and Lisabetta, and we will stay with them again - for more than two days - next time we head back to Italy.

We had a wonderful room in Orvieto at the old lodge and our hosts Alberto and Francesco were wonderful too.The breakfasts were delightful with fresh home grown fruit, bread and cakes and the smell of coffee awoke our senses and hunger every morning!! The pool is a nice big 15 metres and also refreshing for a morning swim before breakfast!!
Signore Alberto was an incredibly gracious host. The room was clean and lovely, the property gorgeous and the pool was relaxing. The walk to Orvieto was a bit steep, but Signore Alberto and his gracious wife were kind to give us a lift when we asked. The best part of the experience was Signore Alberto's fresh fruit and vegetables. The one dinner we had there was by far the best during our entire trip to Italy. I would highly recommend this charming spot to any traveler looking for a restful, quiet place to stay.
