1 bedroom private condo in Capitol Hill, parking, en-suite laundry, excellent location, public transportation at doorstep, internet.
Heidi's condo was the perfect place for my weekend guests. It was close to everything they needed--downtown, bus lines, grocery stores, and restaurants. The condo itself was nicely furnished and the balcony was great for coffee in the morning or drinks in the evening. They also raved about how comfortable the bed was!
Heidi was a great host and I would certainly use her lovely condo again!
Condo was very nice. It had everything we needed. Check in was very smooth. Location was excellent - within walking distance of major sights. We enjoyed our stay.
I really enjoyed my stay at this apartment. It was clean, conveniently located, great space, and Heidi was a fantastic host. I would recommend this apartment.
We had a great time in this apartment very warm, welcoming and close to everything.
I highly recommend staying at her apartment, as it is in a very central location and easily feels like home.
If Heidi's place is any indication of what I can expect from AirBNB, I'm in!
We're not talking about a hotel built with biz traveler set-ups, On Demand movies and HBO, room service etc. mind you, but this place served my needs waaay better. The unit was very cute and cozy. There was a great full kitchen and bathroom which gave me a lot more comfort and flexibility than a hotel (saved money on food and refreshments). Groceries were no problem as there is a very cool market next door (without hotel markup!
The best part of Heidi's place however, is the location. Although it was a short walk to the Convention Center (only about 0.5 mi), I wish I had never left the neighborhood. There were more bistros, pubs, restaurants, clubs and martini bars than I could hit in a week. They were all so charming and the FOOD!
I think it's safe to say that the amenities and cool people of that neighborhood along with Heidi's comfy living space put my stay far above what it would have been in a hotel.
This place is exactly as described. Great little condo right on the outskirts of downtown Seattle. It had this cute little balcony. I loved it. When we went, it was a bit cold outside but I can imagine that in the summer it would come in handy. The bed was a tiny bit hard but the goose down blanket made it super comfy. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything that we needed. There was one thing that kept me up at night and that was the city noise. However, I live out in the country, so just a busy road would seem noisy to me. You cant expect to get the city without the city noise. The parking spot is small and kind of hard to get into. They are really close together in a small area. But hey, you have parking!! Heidi was FANTASTIC. The check in check out process was SUPER smooth. She was nice and worked with us with anything that we needed. I would definitely consider coming back here.
great location really close to convention center where I had my conference. the place is tidy, smaller than I expected but very clean, extra towels and linens. Full kitchen. wish I had shower gel or soap available there. otherwise a great experience. Heidi was very pleasant overall.
My boyfriend and I had a great stay at Heidi's apartment. We stayed for 5 nights and it was a terrific home base to explore the sights of the city and try out many of the bars and restaurants in Capitol Hill. I especially liked Odd Fellows cafe for brunch, Machiavelli for dinner, and Linda's Tavern for a chill (at least on the weekdays) dive bar hang. Close to many different bus routes, lots of shopping and nightlife, and clean. The bed was comfy, and we loved having the patio as well. A little bit of street noise as others have mentioned, but not too bad. Heidi was easy to communicate with, flexible with check-in and check-out times, and quickly remedied a small check-in delay. Definitely would recommend her apartment.
This condo is in a great location, clean, and comfy - super easy to get to by public transit and close to coffee/restaurants/bars on Capital Hill. Coordinating with Heidi on check-in details was easy.
My friend and I had a very pleasant stay at Heidi's condo. I slept on the sofa while Piper took the bed. With Seattle being such a walkable city we felt we were very central to all the sights we wanted to see. We both slept like babies after long days of sightseeing. Heidi had more than enough towels and linens for two women which was very convenient.
We were just a few blocks away from Capitol Hill's nightlife on Pike and Pine. We had delicious organic breakfast sandwiches from Homegrown inside the Melrose Market and some of the freshest coffee I've every had from Victrola Cafe, all around 3 blocks away. Fantastic! We didn't have a chance to check out Poppy which Heidi recommended, but had an amazing dinner at Quinn's Gastropub.
It was hot and humid during our stay so we had the sliding door open which faced a busy intersection. We were surprised by the noise, but we're both heavy sleepers and didn't mind it at all.
Heidi was quick to respond to emails and always picked up when I called. She made it easy. I'd stay here again.
