My lovely flat is located in a very quiet area right next to Holyrood Palace (4 minutes walking distance) and Holyrood Park (2 minutes away!!) so it is an excellent base to discover the history, attractions and nature this amazing city has to offer.
The house sits in the second floor of a typical Edinburgh flat with high ceilings, gas central heating, double glazing and electric hot shower.
The bedroom size is 5 by 4 square metres and features a double bed, one wardrobe, a sofa, a desk, a chair and it was freshly decorated in April 2012.
The price includes free WiFi internet, fresh towels and bed linen and access to the bathroom and a hair dryer. In your room you will find a welcome tray with a kettle, a water jug, a glass, a mug, tea, coffee, sugar, milk and a pastry. There is also an iron and iron board available and if you need to do your laundry I can do it for you.
The Royal Mile is just 5 minutes walking distance from us so there are plenty of good restaurants, pubs and all the main attractions nearby. Also we have a shopping centre 10 minutes from the house with a very good and big supermarket.
There are plenty of buses 4 minutes walking distance from the house including an airport bus (Lothian bus number 35, £1.50 single ticket), you can take a taxi or you can park for free in our street.
I have a good knowledge of my gorgeous city so I will be delighted to give you any tips and suggestions if you want me to and there is also a folder in your bedroom with general information about the city, its attractions, and restaurants as well as a Scottish guidebook for your use.
You can find another listing in Airbnb for the second room and the whole flat.
This is a non-smoking flat. Pets and shoes are not allowed in the house. We like to be tidy and quiet and would appreciate if our guests respect these principles. Only our guests are allowed inside the flat unless agreed with us before hand.
Eva was very welcoming and took time to explain us what to do in Edinburgh ! The room was very clean and nice. It was a great moment.
Thank you very much Eva !
She was a great host. Her place is exactly as she was described, a bid far from downtown so I was using Taxi sometime. But overall was ok. Thanks so much. :)
Eva is agreat host. She recommended us for restaurants, attractions and anythings. Her flat a bit walk from royal mile but feel safe.
We had only one night to stay in Edinburgh but had a great experience.
Eva made us feel very welcome and at home. The apartment was easy to find and really close of Holyrood Park.

I am originally from Spain but I have been living in Edinburgh for the past 18 years. I love travelling and I am fascinated by meeting people, other cultures, learning new recipes, enjoying any type of arts this city can offer and finding out about myself in the process. I have been almost in every attraction in Edinburgh as well as visited most of Scotland so I can give you plenty of information about many Scottish attractions, food, entertainment and transport.
Edinburgh is an amazing place to visit and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
