Pietro's apartment is stunning! It is in a perfect location and I recommend it to anyone visiting Lyon.
I stayed at Pietro's place for three months and I had an amazing time there.
The location of the apartment is excellent. The apartment is very nice and very well kept.
Pietro is very nice, kind and welcoming.
I recommend his place with all my heart.
Séjour à Lyon réussit, emplacement pratique et calme, nous avons tout fait a pied. L'appart est vaste et beau, la chambre nickel, et notre hôte s'est montré très sympathique, agréable et disponible, nous reviendrons !
It was delightful to stay at Pietro's. You should absolutely book this place! :)
The location was *perfect* for our purposes: We were within 20 minutes walk through the Tete d'Or park on our way to the Convention Centre / Palais des Congres. We could also go for a jog in the park with merely four minutes of walking to get there, walk to the Old Lyon and take the bus *right in front of the house* to get to either the Palais or the Gare Part-Dieu to catch the TGV.
The apartment was clean, fully stocked with linens and cooking essentials. We were able to cook up a storm with delicious ingredients gathered all around the neighborhood -- and there is a grocery store almost next door!
The fact that this apartment is so wide and airy, and so plastered with the cutest pictures of Pietro's daughters made it into a very welcoming place. It was also a perfect place to get some work done.
I very much enjoyed my stay at Pietro's apartment. Although he was away for most of my stay, he gave me good directions and it was easy to find. I ended up staying in his daughters bedroom which was fine. The apartment is very spacious and well kept and Pietro is very easy to talk to. I almost lost my set of keys at one stage and he was very understanding and helpful! My only issue was that the apartment got very hot sometimes however I understand that I was in Lyon on some of the hottest days of the year (37°C!). Pietro was also very kind in letting me stay an additional night with no notice. Thanks for a great stay!
I have to start by saying that I did not just stay in Pietro's house, but I actually lived there. I lived for a month and I have enjoyed my experience a lot. Pietro is a wonderful host. Most importantly, he is extremely clean. The house, the toilet, the bathrooms, the kitchen is always clean. The house has everything you need.
He is very friendly. If you need any help he is happy to help. He has the most adorable daughters that visit him over the weekends, but I have never felt disturbed by anything. I enjoyed every single day of my stay and I felt like at home.
The house is located in a very nice and prestigious neighborhood. It is very safe and close ( 10 minute walk) to a great park. It is close ( 10 minute walk) to the Gare de Lyon-Part-Dieu Station, where you have TGV ( speed trains) to almost everywhere to Europe. If you want to go to old Lyon ( city center/downtown) you can walk there . It will take you up to 20 minutes and the walk is really nice. Generally, this is a great place to stay. I recommend you with no reservation whatsoever. Your Lyon experience would be fabulous if you stay here. Thanks Pietro for beings such a nice host!
