Sherrie was very accommodating despite my less than ideal check in and check out time. The room was neat and clean with a powerful heater keeping the place nice and toasty. The location is 5 mins away from Path train and a couple stops away from lower Manhattan which was pretty convenient. Will stay again!
Sherri is a lovely host, very sweet to talk to and respectful of privacy.
The room is accurate to the photos, and is located at the top floor of a walk-up brownstone. The heat was kept on so the place is nice and warm in the winter! Wifi connection was great and there is a tv in the bedroom, although I didn't use it so can't vouch for that. My one issue was that I was unable to lock my bedroom door from the outside.
This was my first experience with AirBnB, and staying in Sherris apartment was convenient and fairly reasonably priced. It's is located very close to the PATH train. You should be alright with cats if you stay here, as she has two sweet-tempered kitties who will go sit on your bed if the door is open.
I would recommend this apartment as a safe, convenient option with a very kind host.
Sherrie is a nice host and was very helpful.
Great location and easy commute to Manhattan on the PATH train.
Sherrie was prompt in communication and super friendly in person. The room was as photographed; nothing fancy but sufficient and clean:) the cats were a bonus for me because I love them but if you're allergic obviously beware. It was a last-minute and budget choice but I think it turned out great. Thanks Sherrie:)
I needed a place to crash overnight near the city on short notice. I booked this room pretty last-minute and arrived very late in the evening. Sherrie was very accommodating of my arrival time - even calling to make sure I was ok - and made me feel welcome in her home. The apartment was warm in the cold winter and the bedroom had a heater of its own. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the large windows wake you with the sun if you like. PATH is 3 blocks away and you're in Manhattan in 15 minutes. Can't be beat for a great overnight stay on a budget. Thanks Sherrie!
Being my first AirBnB experience, I had no idea what to expect. Thankfully I stayed with Sherrie, who was an incredible host! From even before I arrived, she was very accommodating and helpful. Her and her cats were very friendly and a joy to be around! Sherrie is very approachable and was always very informative, and kind! The apartment itself was very clean, exactly as described. The room was exactly what I was looking for, with a desk, heater and bed. The bed was clean, comfortable and very warm and the room was nice. The location is unbeatable for the price, located 5 minutes from the PATH subway station which was a mere 15 minutes into the city. The neighbourhood is pleasant, with great restaurants and town plaza (Grove Street Station area). The apartment itself is only a 15/20 minute walk from the waterfront which in itself very developed and with an incredible view of Manhattan.
Overall, staying here was a fantastic experience and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone!
Sherrie was a very kind and welcoming host; it was great talking to her! Pictures of room and apt are accurate. Comfortable bed, two beautiful cats, easy commute to Manhattan via the PATH train. Not recommended for people with strong dust or cat-hair allergies, but overall a good experience.
