The Birdhouse at Bellfire in Catskills located on a bucolic property in the Catskills Mountains surrounded by maple forest, wildflowers field, and miles to roam. The cabin features a 6 ft skylight above the bedroom, an ode to the awe-inspiring skies of the Meeker Hollow, one of the best spots for stargazing in NY state, and an 11ft-tall window wall in the living space, framing the sprawling, lush landscape.

The space
Your Stay Includes:
• Outdoor Comforts: Private fire pit, Adirondack chairs, grill, rustic shade structure, and a 52qt cooler.
• Kitchenette: Single-burner propane camping stove, tea kettle, paper plates, cups, cutlery, and complimentary coffee, tea, and sugar.
• Private Outhouse: Assigned composting toilet and wash station.
• Solar Shower: Outdoor shower heated by the sun (best for warm afternoon rinses).
• Lighting & Power: No electricity at the cabin; we provide solar lights and battery-powered lanterns to preserve the dark-sky experience.
• Drinking Water: Fresh water and a hand-washing station provided.

Exploring Bellfire & Beyond
Set on a sprawling wildflower field with meandering trails, a maple forest, and a gentle stream, The Birdhouse offers miles of wilderness to roam. Guests also have access to a large yoga deck, shared with our other guests, for peaceful movement and meditation under the open sky.
• Private sauna sessions are $25 per person, per session (up to 2 hours). Reservations are for a single private session and cannot be divided across multiple time slots or days.
Our property borders State land, allowing for endless hiking and exploration straight from your doorstep.

Bellfire is a seasonal outdoor inn made up of 4 unique camps—2 cozy cabins and 2 forest-side canvas camps—each with plenty of private space and surrounded by miles of wild forest. Owners live on-site, so while it’s remote, you’re never far from help.
