Ready to make your friends jealous? With a retractable wall for indoor/outdoor living, a real wood burning fireplace, unreal views of the river, this modern cliffhanging home above the Wenatchee river and in the heart of Leavenworth (only a 2min drive to town!) this cabin will help you unwind and relax! The heat lamps on the deck during the winter or the a/c inside during the summer, you are sure to enjoy your stay at The Overlook
**SNOW ADVISORY** please make sure your car is AWD or 4WD.

The space
Modern newly constructed house with an open floor plan and large windows overlooking the Wenatchee river. The kitchen comes fully equipped with all appliances, dishware and utensils. There is a large screen TV with comfortable seating for 6 as well as a large dining room table. The house has an en suite king bed master bedroom.. attached bath and a large shower overlooking the river. There are two guest bedrooms each having a beautiful view of the river. One bedroom has a king size bed, the other a queen size bed. The second full bathroom is located in the hallway in between the other two bedrooms.
**Please know that the cabin is not pet friendly, please leave your pets at home.
The cabin is a MAX 6 guests as permitted by Chelan County. (this includes all ages, including infants)

CURRENT SNOW ADVISORY
We only provide refunds when both mountain passes are closed. WE work hard to have the driveway plowed for snow every couple of days, but on heavy snowfall days, we cannot guarantee that it will or can be plowed as there are only a couple of plowing options in the city and often times they are unavailable. Consider parking at the top of the driveway in order for you to avoid shoveling your car out.

Parking
You can park at the top of the hill or drive down the driveway in the summer time.
There is room for 3 cars

In the winter it is recommended to park at the top of hill due to icy conditions but if you feel comfortable and have a four wheel drive vehicle feel free to pull down the driveway.

Other things to note
SNOW CONDITIONS: Please note that the only time cancellations are allowed due to weather is if BOTH mountain passes are fully closed. You will likely need 4WD for the passes and please consider downloading the WSDOT APP for most up to date conditions. Our cancellation policy is that no refund is provided for not being able to drive in the winter months due to snow. Thank you.

FIRE PLACE USE: PLEASE-if using the indoor fireplace and need to clean out the ash (which should be done before your arrival but will need to be completed if you stay more than a couple nights and have multiple fires), PLEASE use the provided Black ASH CAN on the outside deck. (not for cigarettes)
Leavenworth is located in a high wild fire area during the summer months.

Please do not leave garbage on the exterior, as Leavenworth is known to have wildlife..bears, coyotes etc

Hello~ One of my favorite hobbies is to meet new people! My hubby and I are owners of two vacation rentals in Leavenworth..our beautiful condo that overlooks the 14th fairway of the Leavenworth Golf course and our cozy, cute cabin that is located on Icicle road. I also love being the Co-host and manage 7 other great Cabins/Condo's in Leavenworth. They are all located within 2 miles of front street and are well taken care of and managed. Why stay in a hotel when you can enjoy staying in a clean, well maintained cabin, condo or guest suite that has the amenities of a home with a fully equipped kitchen and be close to hiking, the beautiful rivers and of course front street in Leavenworth. A quick bit about Shannon~ Lived in Monroe, Wa for over 45 years and bought our condo in Leavenworth in 2012. Daughters graduated from college at WWU & WSU and it was time to downsize, so we bought our Icicle road property in Leavenworth 2015 and started building our new home and vacation rental cabin in 2016. Living in Leavenworth is a dream and I love to make sure that my guests have the best information to see that they arrive and enjoy the best days of their time in Leavenworth. I am always around to help with suggestions for locals hikes, family activities, dining or a great place to grab a drink and listen to local music.
