The Space

Awesome cozy apartment near Shinjuku!
In Nakano, just 7 minutes by train to Shinjuku!!
On the Tokyo METRO MARUNOCHI Line.
ONLY 5 minutes on foot to the nearest station.
Great deal for your own apartment in Tokyo.

NAKANO is a NICE, QUIET, spot in Tokyo and very conveniently located. So close to Shinjuku!! Some guests have walked home for fun. I imagine it took 25-30 minutes!

I have a 2nd small unit in this same building on the 1st floor ( same size as this one ) so if you want to rent 2 apartments with you and your friend(s)- THAT'S POSSIBLE

Live with the locals like a Japanese person. This apartment is just 3 stops on the Marunochi line from Shinjuku. The Marunochi line is the oldest or 2nd oldest train line in Tokyo so it goes to all the main places in the city. It is a residential area with prices for locals. There is a 100¥ store across the street as well as a supermarket so you could eat for not much money if you are on a budget. There are small, delicious restaurants nearby including this great curry place. When I have stayed over here, the people seem friendly and helpful. I really think you would enjoy staying here. Of course you can come and go as you please and there is no curfew.

Stay CONNECTED when you are roaming about in TOKYO!!
May not have these in your country but they are AWESOME!
You will be able to take this small device around Tokyo and be connected to the internet via your smart phone, laptop, etc. Makes exploring so much easier!!
No need to pay ¥1000/$10 a day to rent from the airport!!
Waiting in the apartment for you!!
FREE**********************NO EXTRA CHARGE!

Washing machine just added outside of your balcony.

1 single bed
1 futon bed
Comfortable for 1 or 2 people.
3 would a very crowded!
It would be 2 in the bed and 1 on the futon on the floor.

  • very small place, over priced for what you get! should not advertise that it can fit 2 people.
very bright and noisy in the morning.
shower room smelt like a dirty drain.
best thing about this place was the portable wifi device..
tip for next guests- be organised and book accom in tokyo early! good for a last resort although over priced.

  • Good, no-frills apartment. The 100c store on the corner is very useful!

  • Very cozy place, I personally enjoyed it, even though it was my first time travelling alone, not sure if I would recommend for more than one person though if you are use to a bit of space. The self check in was also quite convenient.
The apartment is set in a lovely neighbourhood of people, just after a couple of days they all got to know me and became very friendly, and were willing to attempt a little bit of or understood if you didn't speak much Japanese. The 24/7 100 yen store, literally just across the road was indispensable for me. Anything I needed at any time of day, including boxers haha, all the way from late night to early morning, could be found there.
Coming from Sydney, where arguably we have poor infrastructure for public transport, the train system here was absolutely amazing (didn't try the buses, also used a pasmo card) and this place is seriously only a 5 minute walk or less for me, from the stop nakano-shimbashi.
I would definitely recommend here if you're looking to stay in Tokyo, near shinjuku, on a smaller budget and travelling alone.

Close to subway metro, clean cosy easy accessible and just minutes away from shinjuku
I will definitely stay here again if I ever come back to Tokyo

  • Will is really a professional person
I have not met him in person but everything he mentioned was so clear , specific and professional.
The Apartment ( although was small like all tokyo apartments ) yet it was not missing anything at all , everything was well thought of.
The apartment was so clean when I arrived , the fridge contained some welcome presents.
    Honestly I felt at home.
I can conclude that will was so professional and I recommend him of course ( for one or maximum two people in the apartment)
He tagged everything in English so no confusion from Japanese language.
At last , Will thought of every single detail and the apartment was full of anything needed.
The location was near to a train station.
I am certainly happy about his service and I personally thank him for his efforts.

    Best regards.
    Haitham Hamed.

  • The flat is well located but not exactly in the center of Tokyo.
No one come to meet you, you have to discover the place by yourself.
It's a very small flat with a one-person bed so don't believe comments telling you could sleep at 2 people there except if you want to sleep on the floor.
There's no table and only one chair and anything to cook except a microwave and kettle ...
The appartment is not very clean, we have found hole in the sheep and stains on the curtain...
Even if Will look very sympathic, we are clearly not satisfied by our stay in his flat...
93 euros per night is almost the price for an hotel and it's very expensive for a 10m2 flat...

  • Will is a great Host. Although we did not meet he was very thorough with his description and directions to the apartment. The heating worked great, we enjoyed green tea in the morning and the portable wifi device was the icing on the cake for our explorations throughout Tokyo. Mos Burger is one block away! Thanks Will.

  • Will was a great host during our week-long stay in his cosy Apartment! Checking in and out was super-easy and the portable pocket Wifi was our savour! Nakano is a great area to stay if you want an authentic experience of Tokyo - you're surrounded by lots of local people, prompting you to learn a bit of the language! It's also very nice if like me, you enjoy going for a spontaneous stroll at night! Will's communication was really good - especially as he has many properties to manage in the city! The metro is also very close to the apartment and is easy to navigate without knowing any Japanese. We spent our second week in Roppongi, but I have to admit - nothing compared to our first week in Nakano! Thanks Will :-)

    Response from Will:

Thanks Joshua. You were the ideal guest and I would happily welcome you back anytime! Take care and hope you get a chance to come back!!

  • Recommended. Great local japanese neighbourhood with 24 hours convenient store and great supermarket super close to apartment. Close to metro and good restaurants.
The portable WIFI is a super plus as wifi is hard to come by in Tokyo. Very informative instructions from Will and always answers your emails promptly.
A little noisy as it's a ground floor flat, but for the price I would def stay here again. Small but you have everything you need in the flat.

  • Well equipped cosy space with a great location close to many food options. The communication with Will was very good and the information provided was comprehensive. For the price, convenience and location a good option.

I love Tokyo. This place is just indescribably cool. You can stay up all night and find whatever you want, whenever you want. Not only that, I have never felt unsafe here no matter where I was. I guess you will just have to come here and find out for yourself about how awesome this city is!! I have been in Tokyo about 5 years now and there is so much to do that you can never get bored. Also, it's not as expensive as everyone might think. There are definitely cheap places around to eat and drink!!! And ALL the restaurants here are good. I love sports of any kind, keeping busy, and laughing. I also really enjoying spending time with my friends. We eat out, drink, dance, play billiards, darts, and sing karaoke. I love meeting new people too. Nothing like sharing some good stories from around the globe. I am not fluent in Japanese but I'm getting better and usually can get what is needed on my own. I like to enjoy life and live in the moment so I'm pretty easygoing. I have a flexible schedule and still do some teaching here on occasion. I am really getting into this Airbnb thing so I am keeping pretty busy but I will do my best to help you with what you need. Any questions? Any at all, feel free to ask. Finally, It is my goal that people have an awesome, relaxed, and stress free vacation so I hope you choose to stay with me!! I may be easygoing but I am serious about business and relationships. I will make sure that your accommodation here is comfortable and you have what you need. I do have a support network here to help me as well. I now have over 15 places to choose from in all parts of the city so check them out and let me know which place you like best!!! Hope to hear from you soon!!
