According to legend, the invisible threads stretched by the Seven Saints of Marrakech, take prisoners the hearts of strangers that are venturing for the first time.
Hence, there is always a reason to go-back to Marrakech
Marrakech is a kaleidoscope of color and scent: Dar Yasmin has all of it
A breath away from the hustle and bustle of Jemaa el Fnaa it stands in one of the Medina most safe and quiet neighborhood
You'll be soon call it "HOME"

The space

We chose to keep carrying on with the traditions. Therefore, Dar Yasmin is a true Moroccan experience in a typical rustic Moroccan building stretched on 2 floors and orange trees set in the middle of the courtyard, providing shade and scenting your sunny lazy days, creating an unforgettable atmosphere bringing you back to those days made of merchants and essences. We could rebuilt the whole house and make it more "western taste", as often happens in many today's Riads, in which the taste of real Marrakech is being lost. For example, its courtyard, is today still covered with original BELDI tiles, dating from the period of its construction and jealously preserved even though, over the decades, some have faded. Nevertheless, it carries fully intact all its charm and it reminds you how it was. Copies of those tiles are now widely available but, as said, are just copies. The roof terrace is a great spot for breakfast, lunch and shooting stars dinner or only to enjoy the sun on a lounger.

The house offer complimentary Moroccan breakfast and personnel who will discretely look after you, during your stay.
Linen and towels are also provided
Your housemaid is also an excellent cook and, up on request, can delight your palate with finger leaks Moroccan dishes or simply buy for you the grocery necessary for you to cook on your own.
It won't take too long for the guests to call it "HOME"

it is a matter of kindness towards the next customer, not to smoke in the bedrooms and closed spaces such as dining room and living room. Highly appreciated.

The neighborhood is the perfect Marrakesh experience of the sounds and exotic cumin, coriander spice smells from the nearby kitchens. The house is ideally situated for a relaxed stroll to the Old Town and places of interest e.g. Palais El Badi, Saadian Tombs, Palais Bahia, Place Jmaa El Fna.

The house has the perfect position in the medina with easy access for car parking. Taxis to the airport or to sightseeing to the new town or other distant places of interest are easily accessible

Guest access

The house has two large self contained double bedrooms tastefully furnishing and selected decors picked up in years of travels. They are made to ensure your comfort and sweeten your dreams. The rooms are equipped with a/c and heater. Same as for all the Riads or Dar, also our rooms are facing the courtyard and have private bathrooms. Guests can enjoy all spaces of this lovely real Moroccan house. In addition, a fully equipped kitchen is provided, however, if too lazy to cook due to exhausting days spent wondering around the souks, your host is on hand for delicious meals.
At disposal, also the comfort of a lovely dining room as well as a living to relax with a book or quiet conversation.
Free WI-FI is offered.
Dar Yasmin has a private Hammam. With a bit of notice, you can ask your host to turn it on and you can enjoy it in complete relaxation as well as privacy.

Dar Yasmin is an absolute gem. We loved everything about it - we felt right at home and very well cared for. Anna was wonderful with communication, always responding thoughtfully and immediately. Aziz and Malika were wonderful as well, providing delightful breakfast and answering all our questions and needs. The house is delightful - large and very comfortable, with two bedrooms, sitting room, dining room, kitchen, and terrace - and lovely orange tree in courtyard with birds, shade, and fruit. The air conditioning inside rooms was helpful as it was hot during the day. And when it was breezy and beautiful at night, when we enjoyed having doors and windows open and looking at the moon from the terrace. The location was terrific for us - walkable through souks to all medina destinations, but convenient to parking for our rental car / taxi needs. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! And many thanks to Anna, Aziz, Malika.

I really can't think of anything essential that would have made Anna's riad in Marrakech better for us. The house itself is lovely and interesting to look at. The terrace was magical - the perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine after a day in the medina, look at the stars, and hear the sounds of everyday family life happening in neighboring riads all around us. The beds were very comfortable, there was hot water, we had breakfast every morning, and Mrs. Malika cleaned up after us. We loved your riad and would definitely stay there again. Thank you!

Fantastic value. Huge space. Great location. Anna was very easy to deal with and the taxi driver she lined up for us waited for 90 minutes for us to get through customs and passport control! Aziz was there to meet us despite our very late arrival and it all went very smoothly. A wonderful find!

My friend and I truly cannot recommend Anna's place enough to anyone visiting Marrakech. Communication with Anna was seamless and she was very quick to respond to our many questions both before and during our stay. She arranges a taxi for pick-up right outside of the airport to take you directly to her home, where Aziz will let you in and provide you with a map of Marrakech and answer any immediate questions. Malika, the maid, was there upon our arrival as well to welcome us with the best mint tea in the city. I'm a vegetarian and have celiac's disease, which Malika was very empathetic to when making breakfast. She serves the most delicious freshly squeezed orange juice each morning as well! The bedrooms are beautiful, very clean, and have efficient AC units that only need to be run for a few minutes to cool the room. Malika leaves incense to burn in the center of the riad, which coupled with singing birds and abundant sunlight makes for an incredibly peaceful place to sit and relax. The rooftop terrace is wonderful as well and has a crow's nest that provides a stunning 360 degree view of all of Marrakech. The riad could not have been better located, either; there is a small shop about 50 yards away to buy water and we were able to get everywhere in the city by foot. Our stay in Morocco was absolutely incredible and we look forward to staying with Anna again in the near future! Thank you so, so much for everything!!

Our time at Anna's house was just perfect. She was extremely communicative before and during our stay; she answered all of our questions and made sure our time in Marrakech was as smooth as possible. The manager of the Riad, Mr. Aziz, was also extremely helpful and met up with us on the street where the taxi dropped us off to show us the way to the Riad; he also arranged our transport to the airport. The house is absolutely beautiful (just as depicted in the pictures); it was clean, comfortably, and very spacious. There is a maid the came in to make (authentic) Moroccan breakfast which was delicious; she also made our beds and even offered to wash our clothes. The location of the Riad is great, far enough from the Medina's main square so that it's quiet and not as chaotic, but also close enough so that you can get to the main attractions and The Market in 8-10min. Thank you very much Anna for letting us stay at your beautiful Riad!

Anna and the other house members made the trip an absolute joy. They were very friendly and helpful, arranging everything from breakfast to excursions. I would highly recommend any to stay in the riad! It was also in a great location that was within walking distance to the main square in medina and tons of markets.
