A calm, serene and beautiful place.. The property is a hidden gem..would love to return to this place often..Steve and his wife are wonderful hosts and provided all the inforrmation needed for the trip and booking additional activities..eg rafting etc. Manish(onsite manager) is polite and attentive...The food deserves a special thumbs up..The rooms are very clean and well maintained..
A perfect sanctuary in the most wonderful location!!! This place is surrounded by trees and offers a beautiful view over the Ganga, and all you can hear is the water of the river flowing by. It's the perfect place to relax, unwind and spend some quiet time. The food is absolutely amazing, as is the effort with which you are taken care of. If you want to get to Laxman Jhula, it is a lovely 30 mins stroll along the Ganga, or a 5 min cab ride.
I've been in luxury places worldwide. Still, the very affordable RED HOUSE is by far my best experience. The very nicely architectured RED HOUSE itself, the location deep in nature under the trees, so close to Ganga river and with a torrent just beside, at the right distance from Rishikeshall is a dream. There is a nicely equipped kitchen, a great team operating it, the food is simple, exactly what we like (as opposed to fusion or other bla bla food), perfectly executed with great ingredients. Steve and Trupti are charming hosts always ready to help and all the staff is alike. This place is a slice of paradise. And to be material, the price/quality ratio is up there. I know in my heart that I will be back soon.
The Rainforest House is beautiful, secluded and totally relaxing. The rooms are very nice with good linens and comfortable bed. The service was terrific in planning day trips and arranging for massage services in Rishikesh. The manager Manish was quite charming and attentive. The food was excellent and I liked that I could take my meals in my room after long days exploring Rishikesh and surrounding areas. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a clean comfortable and beautiful atmosphere that is not right in the middle of Rishikesh but an easy 5 minute taxi ride into town.
