If you are looking for the perfect escape, look no further than “The Leaf River Yacht Club”. This beautiful cabin will make you feel right at home as if you are in The Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. Built in 2014, this home offers breathtaking views of the long & winding Leaf River, a 1-mile sandbar, unlimited sounds of nature & birds singing, as well as peace & quiet. Located 1.8 miles off the blacktop, this getaway allows you to reconnect with nature & re-energize for the daily grind.

The space
-enjoy the wide porch that runs the length of the house and overlooks your personal sandbar/river
-close to Camp Shelby and Leaf River New Augusta wood mill if working nearby and close to Hattiesburg Industrial business park
-relax on the porch swing while cooking your favorite meal on the BBQ grill (bring your own charcoal)
-bring your personal ATV’S and ride on the sandbar as well as the gravel road
-sit around the fire pit area and build a nice, warm, and cozy bonfire as you roast marshmallows and enjoy the best campfire snack in a "smores" as well as telling ghost stories beneath the moon, stars, and clear skies..
-plenty of parking is available for you and your guests
-bring your Jon-boat and feel free to catch your dinner or fish from the shore
-large grass area for you to bring your football, corn hole boards, or even the old school Baseball game of country jay
-after swimming in the river, rinse off with a hot/cold shower under the house. There is also a bathroom under the house.
- 2 Bedrooms featuring 2 queen beds
- for the ultimate camping experience, enjoy the Queen bed on the porch underneath the fans
-2 air mattresses are also available for use
-6 kayaks are available. Put them in at Sims bridge and float back to the cabin after a fun day on the river.
-2 HD TV’s are available to watch your favorite football teams play.
-enjoy the 8 foot bar/island as you sit around and play cards or enjoy your dinner and swap fishing stories of who caught the biggest fish

Guest access
You and your guests are completely responsible for any and all safety as it relates to the property, around the property, and on or in the river. Swim at your own risk. Please note that the river does have a flowing current and you must respect the river at all times. Please keep a close eye on children on the deck and both staircases because the house is elevated 10 ft off the ground.

Other things to note
This is our private home/retreat. Our hope is that you will treat it as you would treat your own home. Guest will be responsible for any damages to the home or any amenities that are damaged also. If you get in, or swim in the river, we are not responsible for any incidents that may occur. Swim at your own risk. No smoking inside, and please do not throw trash or cigarette butts anywhere on the property. No pets are allowed inside the home. We do charge for cleaning but we ask that you bag your own trash, strip the beds of linens and put them and any towels used in the laundry room and please turn the lights off and turn the air up to 82 degrees upon your departure!
