We have 2 bedrooms each with a single bed for 1 guest each. The rooms are on the 3rd floor of our home with a bathroom in between to share for our guests. We provide clean linens and towels, light snacks, wifi in the house and access to laundry if you need it.

In the morning please help yourself to breakfast foods we provide. You can eat breakfast on your own schedule. We will make a pot of coffee and we are usually off to work early. You may want to keep other food in the refrigerator if you are staying a while you are perfectly welcome to use the kitchen to cook. (Just clean up after yourself please)

Our house is a 5 minute walk to Tufts University. There is a whole foods, Starbucks and the Danish pastry house all within walking distance. One block away you can get buses to both Davis and Harvard Sq. the red line is in Davis Sq.

We created a guidebook that shows some local shops and other points of interest nearby.

The exterior of the house is in the process of some repairs but the interior has all been done over and we try to keep it clean and neat.

We have a dog and a cat who sleep most of the time and our sons are both away in college.

We speak both English and Spanish and a little french too. we enjoy hosting people from all over the US and the world. It has been very interesting meeting people from different backgrounds.

No smoking in the house.

Your host, Carol

  • My stay with Carol gets a 5 star. The room, accommodation, parking were all as advertized plus more. Carol and her husband are very nice. If you need your private bathroom reserve both rooms and then you will have the whole upstairs floor to yourself.

  • Carol and her husband were a great host, and staying at their place made me feel very relaxed. The room was clean, cosy and safe. And the location to Tufts is close and there are buses that will take you directly to the red line stations. Carol knows good places for sightseeing so although I had limited time in Boston, I was able to enjoy my stay. Their lovely pets (Muffin and Daisy) were also very adorable. I wish I had more time to stay at their place... I can't wait to visit again. Thank you Carol!

  • It has been the most wonderful experience I have had with Airbnb. Carol is wonderful, funny and a great host. She is so generous that not only doe she provide breakfast of varieties but she also welcomes guests to make meals out of any food in the fridge. Carol and her husband are open, warm, genuine, and ready for good and down to earth conversations. The room is even better than it looks. It is cozy with comfy bedding. My room is facilitated with a wardrobe, a nice chair, and an empty shelf and desk for my use. It is clean, and Carol prepares a heater in case the guest needs the room to be warmer. The bathroom is clean, spacious with sufficient toiletry. Lots of details in this house show how thoughtful the host is and how much love and warmth the house offers.

And its just unbelievable how Carol and her husband Arnoldo would get out of their way to help guests. They gave me rides to the metro stop for so many times and answered my different questions so patiently. I feel that their hospitality is part of their nature instead of performed obligation of a host.

I had great time with them after my conference in Harvard. We went to see the Boston marathon together and cooked Chinese that evening too. Carol is one of the best human beings I have ever seen; and considering how many places I have travelled to please take my comments seriously :)

  • I had a very comfortable stay at Carol's place. I got a lot of work done at the little desk. I found a Whole Foods about a mile away and parked very near the front door. Recommended!

  • Carol and her husband were very welcoming and friendly, making sure I knew where everything was and that I felt comfortable. Carol had a thoughtful variety of snacks and breakfast foods available, as well as bottles of water in the room, and she genuinely made me feel welcome to use their kitchen. The bedroom was clean, neat and exactly as pictured, with a nice reading lamp right next to the single bed, which was very comfortable. I had wanted to be near Tufts, and this was a few blocks away. I would definitely stay here again.

  • I was in a bind and needed a place to stay while sizing down my storage. Carol was very responsive to my questions and the room was very tidy and accessible. The bathroom and kitchen was also clean and accessible. And Carol herself and family are such lovely people!! Thanks again, Carol!

  • I am a student in a graduate program at Tufts and needed interim housing. The entire Henriquez home is warm, pleasant and welcoming, very clean and organized. The location is ideal; a ten minute walk to campus and in short reach of shops and cafes. Carol is lovely and her family made me feel comfortable and at home from the start without being intrusive. I would recommend this home without hesitation.

  • I loved staying with Carol and her family! It felt like home immediately. She was very generous, offering food and amenities. The house was clean and comfortable, and a nice close drive to Boston, Tufts, Davis Square, and Cambridge. I enjoyed my conversations at the house. Everyone was friendly, open, and interesting :) I highly recommend staying here on your next trip to Boston!
