We are close to lake Chatuge. There is a public swimming beach very close at Clay County Recreation park. There are a few public boat ramps where you could also launch your kayaks: Jackrabbit Road, near Jackrabbit mountain campground. Gibson Cove Campground, off Myers Chapel Road and Ledford Chapel road boat ramp. Ledford Chapel Road boat access also has a fishing pier. There are many more areas where you can have public access to the lake.
Jackrabbit mountain hiking trail is one of them
