We’re just 25 min to DT Knoxville and Townsend, 35 min to Pigeon Forge and 55 min to Gatlinburg—the perfect base for exploring the Smoky Mountains.

The space

We love to customize stays! So if you have a special occasion, let us know! 😍 anniversaries, elopements, proposals, birthdays, father-son fishing weekend, girls weekend, etc… We can also connect you with local businesses for charcuterie boards, mobile massages and mini photoshoots!


Access to river- we DO have a dock on property (it’s shared with the neighboring house) but feel free to bring camp chairs or the travel chairs under stair case down to the dock or the hammock to put down by the trees! *we provide kayaks, feel free to use those as well!

Don't forget to check out the roof top deck when you're here- perfect for happy hour cocktails or laying and watching the stars!

*we do not allow any animals

*we are located on 2 acres, sharing that acreage with another house. There is a privacy fence between the two. There IS a neighborhood behind us. But we have tried our best to make you feel secluded here with curtains on the deck, a privacy fence and facing the house toward the river.

*IMPORTANT: We are committed to protecting our properties and keeping up-to-date with short term regulations, which is why you will be asked to complete our independent verification.

Other things to note
My husband Tyler designed and built this tiny home himself while working full time as a teacher and having a newborn. We started the built in 2018 and officially opened in 2020!! We cannot wait to share it with you!

We are only 10 minutes to downtown Maryville, 25 min to downtown Knoxville, 25 minutes to Townsend, 35 min to Pigeon Forge and 50 minutes to Gatlinburg!

Closest airport is only 12-15 minutes away (it’s the Knoxville/McGhee Tyson airport)

I would turn your blinker on when you pass over the bridge... you will be turning on the next street and people drive way too fast on this road. :)

The driveway is L shaped... so when you pull in, you are going to turn right to park... depending on car size you may have to do a little 3 point turn :)

*We don't have an iron, but we do have a hand steamer!
* We DO have a grill
* We have 2 burner stove you plug in (under sink with several pots & pans)
* We DO have a small crock pot
*We have roasting sticks so you can make smore's/hotdog's on the fire :)

My husband and I built Little River Tiny House from the ground up, and are so excited to share the space with you! We hope you love it! It was definitely a labor of love and a labor of tears LOL all the wood was from a local mill two and every piece was sanded and screwed in by Tyler. We hope you feel the love that went into the space! We just recently started renting out the house next door to the tiny house… We have been slowly working on making a house from the 40s feel like a modern lodge/river cabin… We hope you love it just as much as you do the tiny house! In short- we live on coffee, have a 4 year old son, and love making everything into an experience! Some of our favorite things are driving through the mountains, and sipping on coffee on the porch under market lights. My husband Tyler is originally from Utah and moved to TN when he was 11. I was born and raised in Florida and moved to TN in 2013. We met in Tennessee the month after I moved here, and the rest is history :) We LOVE meeting new people and can't wait for you to experience our slice of heaven :)
