The space
Welcome to Little River Tiny House — a cozy riverfront retreat in Maryville, Tennessee.

Our tiny house sits on 2 acres along the Little River, offering the perfect mix of a peaceful riverside escape while still being close to town. Please note: this is not a remote or isolated mountain cabin. We share the acreage with one neighboring home, and there is a residential neighborhood behind the property. We’ve thoughtfully positioned the tiny house toward the river and added privacy fencing and deck curtains to create a cozy, private-feeling retreat.

🌿 RIVER ACCESS + KAYAKS
Head down to our shared river dock, bring a chair or hammock, or take the provided kayaks out on the Little River. The dock is shared with the neighboring home on the property.

🔥 HOT TUB + OUTDOOR LIVING
Unwind in the hot tub, gather around the fire pit, or enjoy the covered deck surrounded by trees.

✨ ROOFTOP DECK
One of our favorite spots! Take your morning coffee upstairs, enjoy happy-hour cocktails, or wind down under the stars.

• We do not allow pets. IMPORTANT: We are committed to protecting our properties and keeping up-to-date with short term regulations, which is why you will be asked to complete our independent verification.

Welcome to Little River Tiny House, a 500+ 5⭐romantic retreat!

My husband Tyler designed and built this tiny home himself while working full time as a teacher and having a newborn. We started the built in 2018 and officially opened in 2020!! We cannot wait to share it with you!

We are only 10 minutes to downtown Maryville, 25 min to downtown Knoxville, 25 minutes to Townsend, 35 min to Pigeon Forge and 50 minutes to Gatlinburg!

Closest airport is only 12-15 minutes away (it’s the Knoxville/McGhee Tyson airport)

Little River access with kayaks + floating dock adventures
In the summer month, guests love walking down to Little River to kayak, float, fish, or tie up a float and relax at the shared dock.

I would turn your blinker on when you pass over the bridge... you will be turning on the next street and people drive way too fast on this road. :)

The driveway is L shaped... so when you pull in, you are going to turn right to park... depending on car size you may have to do a little 3 point turn :)

*We don't have an iron, but we do have a hand steamer!
* We DO have a grill
* We have 2 burner stove you plug in (under sink with several pots & pans)
* We DO have a small crock pot
*We have roasting sticks so you can make smore's/hotdog's on the fire :)

My husband and I built Little River Tiny House from the ground up, and are so excited to share the space with you! We hope you love it! It was definitely a labor of love and a labor of tears LOL all the wood was from a local mill two and every piece was sanded and screwed in by Tyler. We hope you feel the love that went into the space! We just recently started renting out the house next door to the tiny house… We have been slowly working on making a house from the 40s feel like a modern lodge/river cabin… We hope you love it just as much as you do the tiny house! In short- we live on coffee, have a 4 year old son, and love making everything into an experience! Some of our favorite things are driving through the mountains, and sipping on coffee on the porch under market lights. My husband Tyler is originally from Utah and moved to TN when he was 11. I was born and raised in Florida and moved to TN in 2013. We met in Tennessee the month after I moved here, and the rest is history :) We LOVE meeting new people and can't wait for you to experience our slice of heaven :)
