The space
California King memory foam mattress is located in main loft, and there is a single sleeper foam pad in the smaller reading-nook loft. This single sleeping spot will only be made up into a bed with sheets for a rental of two people IF REQUESTED beforehand. Otherwise it will be set up for lounging and reading during your stay, as we will assume the 2 guests are sharing king bed. Kitchen has a mini fridge with a freezer, 2 burner stove top, toaster oven, coffee maker, french press and all the plates, pots & pans, silverware and mugs needed to make and enjoy your meals. We also have some spices, condiments and cooking extras in the kitchen that you are free to use. Couch and small dining area for two also located on main floor with kitchen. Propane BBQ, picnic table and fire pit on patio outside. Path from front porch goes to your own private Barrel Sauna and cold plunge shower. Perfect after a day of island adventure.

On island food options: The main island store at the ferry landing is currently open Seven days a week and serves food, beer and wine, and sells limited grocery items.

There is also a small store at the Guemes Island Resort on the North tip of the island, that sells beer, wine, and alcohol, and limited food items (like frozen pizzas!) It is open daily from 9 - 7pm and is a 15 minute drive from the Tiny house.

Where you’ll be

Anacortes, Washington, United States

Guemes is home to 650 full time year-round residents and has a wonderful island community. We have one main store on the island that provides amenities you may need like beer and wine, food items and gas right above the ferry landing. Open 7 days a week. There are two large grocery stores in Anacortes, and we recommend buying your food items at one of them before catching the ferry to Guemes. The Guemes Resort on North Beach also has a "tiny" store where you can find the best selection of beer and wine on the island.

My husband and I both live and work through the woods just up the driveway from the Tiny House and usually will be home to answer any questions you have unless we have specified otherwise.

Hello! We are Jessica & Carson. Jess is an Illustrator & printmaker at her company, Slow Loris and Carson is a woodworker also running his own small business, Knotweld. We have a 6 year old daughter named Matia, 2 rescue dogs named Cricket and Wren and a fluffy rescue cat named Minnow.

We both have studios on the property and work from home. We are easy going people who love to build and design things in our spare time and enjoy meeting new people. The tiny house is located in the woods on our 5.5 acre property, so we are readily available to help with any questions you may have, but far enough away to provide you with a stay that's all your own. Random cars may drive by for deliveries or friends visiting our home, but mostly the driveway is pretty quiet leaving you a private spot of your own to enjoy tucked in the woods.

During your stay

We live further up into the woods, up the same driveway from where you will be staying. We will wave if we drive by but basically we will not be bothering you during your stay. The place is yours! If we are needed for any questions, we're just a phone call or text/message away.
