We've been hosting Airbnb guests from all over the world for the past couple of years and can honestly say it's been one of the best experiences we've had. Williamsburg is often called the new East Village! When living in the East Village became too expensive for the creative and artsy types ... they decided to pack their bags and move across the river to Williamsburg. Full of trendy bars, restaurants, breweries (Brooklyn Brewery), vintage shops and more ... theres more than enough for you to enjoy during your stay! You can even borrow one of our bicycles and explore everything this beautiful neighborhood has to offer! Best of all, if you get tired of the "Burg" you're just a few short stops away from downtown Manhattan!

Interaction with Guests
We live in the apartment so we'll be around for sure! We find that most guests don't spend much time in the apartment because they're too busy exploring the city BUT we're more than happy to make recommendations for things to see and do in the city (like nightlife, bars, restaurants and shows).
All the options! 10 minutes away from Manhattan on the L train, great bars and restaurants, live music venues, art galleries, museums ... all within walking distance or quick subway ride. I'm happy to make recommendations on things to do and see (I know my shit!) as I own a bike tour company called Get Up and Ride.
One block away from the Graham Ave L train subway station.
Other Things to Note
The apartment and building are recently renovated but old like many building in NYC. The occasional sound can be heard coming from the radiators for heat and pipes! We also have a dog and cat so guests should be pet friendly.
Pretty easy going ... just be careful who you bring back to the house! If you use the dishes please wash them when you're done. Be courteous of the common space and clean up after yourself. Other than that, enjoy!
Nicole and Felipe were very good hosts, easy going and welcoming. The neighborhood is great, lots of nice cafes and bars on the street, and super convenient to commute into Manhattan with the L train around the corner.
I stayed with Nichole and Felipe for a whole month and the time was just awesome. I just moved to NY and it was my first accommodation for the first month here.
The guys are super nice and helped me out with everything, gave me some good tips about the Brooklyn neighborhood and Manhattan as well, help me to get settled, invited me to go out with them during the weekends and sometimes had dinner together. Felipe knows a lot of places because of his business (getupandride) so perfect for everyone who wants to get to know the city very well.
The room and the apartment was exactly how described and I got provided with fresh sheets and towels whenever i wanted to.
The apartment is located right next to the Graham L-train stop and just perfect to commute to Manhattan.
They have a sweet puppy dog and a totally chilled cat :-)
Besides the cold and windy weather everything was just great!
I totally recommend staying with them!
Felipe and Nichole were really nice hosts with ready suggestions. The apartment was clean and cozy. Molly the cat and Graham the dog were really sweet and friendly. The room faces the street so if you're sensitive to noise bring earplugs.
We hebben een geweldige tijd gehad bij Felipe en Nichole. Zeer welkom en gezellig. De fietstocht van Felipe door Brooklyn is echt een aanrader! Bedankt voor de mooie week Felipe en Nichole!
We had a great time at Felipe & Nicole's! The neighborhood was great, extremely convenient and close to the L train that gets you basically everywhere! The apartment is really nice and the hosts friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.
Felipe and nichole are very welcoming friendly hosts with lots of local knowledge and suggestions where to eat drink etc they are very laid back and give you your own space to come and go as you please they also have a very friendly dog and cat.
The flat is in a great location plenty of shops, bars and places to eat nearby and a subway stop just outside. Williamsburg is a great neighbourhood and feels safe at all times and Felipe will be able to give you reviews and directions to places you want to check out! The room is a little on the small side but was enough for me and my partner the few days we were there, the bed is clean, comfy and there is space to hang clothes and stow cases. The rest of the flat is nice and clean with a nice hot shower and towels are provided for you and you are free to use the kitchen, tv, Wifi etc. They were also nice enough to look after our bags after checkout on the last day while we did some last minute sightseeing.
I would recommend Felipe and Nichole and would stay with them if in the village again!

I'm 29 years old an most people would say I'm outgoing, social and friendly. I moved to Brooklyn from Washington, D.C about 4 years ago and have loved every minute of it!
Like most people on AirBnb I love to travel, learn about new cultures and meet fun and interesting people. I like to be as much a part of my guests experiences as they like. I'm more than happy to walk you around the area or leave you be if you like to explore on your own.
I own a boutique tour company called Get Up and Ride that organizes sightseeing tours in Brooklyn on bikes and adventure tours around the county. In Brooklyn, we offer a variety of different tours that give our guests a locals perspective of this great borough and use beautiful and comfortable European style bikes.
