Beautiful room in a very accommodating and comfortable apartment with fast wifi and conveniently located a block away from the Graham Avenue L train subway in Williamsburg. You'll be staying with the owner of Get Up and Ride, a bike tour company exploring NYC. Guests get free passes on any tour during their stay (March-November)!
Quiet, spacious private room available just one block away from EVERYTHING in the heart of East Williamsburg, Brooklyn. One block away from the Graham Avenue L-Train Subway line with access to a patio area and backyard! You'll share the apartment with Felipe & Nichole, Graham a very friendly Chocolate Lab mix and Molly a tuxedo cat.
I've been hosting Airbnb guests from all over the world for the past couple of years and can honestly say it's been one of the best experiences I've had. I love meeting new people, showing them the best my city has to offer and generally spreading my love for Brooklyn and NYC. I own a bicycle tour company called Get Up and Ride that showcases Brooklyn's most authentic and off the beaten path sites which recently became listed as Brooklyn's #1 activity on TripAdvisor. Stay with me and you'll really get a unique and memorable experience and discounts on bike tours if you'd like to ride!

Williamsburg is often called the new East Village! When living in the East Village became too expensive for the creative and artsy types ... they decided to pack their bags and move across the river to Williamsburg. Full of trendy bars, restaurants, breweries (Brooklyn Brewery), vintage shops and more ... theres more than enough for you to enjoy during your stay! You can even borrow one of our bicycles and explore everything this beautiful neighborhood has to offer! Best of all, if you get tired of the "Burg" you're just a few short stops away from downtown Manhattan!

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:
*I'm more than happy to offer advice on where to eat and go out
*You'll have your own set of keys so you can come and go as you please
*I'll always be available via cell phone and actually live in the apartment
Fast wifi and everything in the apartment :) You'll be given your own set of keys when you arrive, we use a service to pick-up drop off the keys. There's a local bagel shop where you pick them up, you'll be emailed the directions.
Interaction with guests
We live in the apartment so we'll be around for sure! We're both very outgoing and social people so you'll often find friends over for dinner or drinks. I find that most guests don't spend much time in the apartment because they're too busy exploring the city BUT I'm more than happy to make recommendations for things to see and do in the city (like nightlife, bars, restaurants and shows). I own a local bicycle tour company called Get Up and Ride so making recommendations for things to do is literally my job!
Other things to note
The apartment and building are recently renovated but old like many building in NYC. The occasional sound can be heard coming from the radiators for heat and pipes! We also have a dog and cat so guests should be pet friendly.
Pretty easy going ... just be careful who you bring back to the house, ask first so it's not a total surprise! If you use the dishes please wash them when you're done. Be courteous of the common space and clean up after yourself. Other than that, enjoy!
Green smoking is also totally cool. Cigarettes only outside please.

I'm 30 years old an most people would say I'm outgoing, social and friendly. I moved to Brooklyn from Washington, D.C about 6 years ago and have loved every minute of it! I have a great dog named Graham, he's half Chocolate Lab and Doberman.
Like most people on AirBnb I love to travel, learn about new cultures and meet fun and interesting people. I like to be as much a part of my guests experiences as they like. I'm more than happy to walk you around the area or leave you be if you like to explore on your own.
I own a boutique tour company called Get Up and Ride that organizes sightseeing tours in Brooklyn on bikes and adventure tours around the county. In Brooklyn, we offer a variety of different tours that give our guests a locals perspective of this great borough and use beautiful and comfortable European style bikes. Check us out by searching for Get Up and Ride online.
