  • Tim was a very friendly host and very flexible. All the folks I met at the house were also very welcoming. However, the house was not cleaned well at all. There were at least four cats I counted coming in and out of the house and this unfortunately left the house smelling of cat litter/poop. I even found one cat in my luggage the next morning, which left hair everywhere. Also, the bathroom sink was so clogged it almost overflowed. If you like a clean space I would recommend staying in a different place if you come to Atlanta.

  • This was my first experience with airbnb. Tim was a super nice host. Really laid back. It had that "stopping in town to stay at a friend's house" feel to it. I met the other guest as well. Enjoyed the personal aspect of conversation one does not get staying in a hotel. Definitely using airbnb again.

  • Tim was extremely welcoming and I felt very much at home. He is very friendly and we had many nice discussions. He also showed me the neighborhood and his other rentals. I was wore out the night I arrived and the hot water of the hot tub was the perfect way to soothe my muscles after a very long day. I feel as though I left Atlanta with a new friend in Tim.

  • Tim was very quick to correspond with us about our stay, and although we did not run into each other the evening we got there, everything was set up and well communicated. Tim did greet us in the morning, offering coffee and a small breakfast. He was also helpful with ideas on things to do in the area. We enjoyed our visit.

  • Tim is a great guy and a truly gracious host. Shortly after arriving in Atlanta I got a text message from me asking if I wanted to go swimming in a public pool that afternoon. After 16 hours on a bus that was exactly what I wanted to do and was happy to accept. Tim knows Atlanta very well and is more than happy to pick you up and drop you off from the nearby MARTA station. This was my first time on Airbnb and I was very impressed with the level of service I received. Every morning there was a fresh towel sitting in the bathroom and full pot of coffee sitting in the kitchen for guests who wanted it. I highly recommend staying with Tim if you're stopping through Atlanta. Thanks Tim!

  • My boyfriend and I stayed with Tim last summer for one night. I originally booked the wrong room but Tim allowed me to change my reservation without any problem and was quick to respond! He was welcoming and gave us great suggestions for things to do in our short time there. We slept well and were provided with plenty of toiletries and towels to choose from. Definitely more of a hostel feel at this location as we did share a bathroom with another room. Crossing the railroad track to get from the MARTA to his house might've been scary considering the neighborhood but I was with my boyfriend. If you are a lone female traveler, this might concern you. Other than that, getting to his place from the Greyhound station was relatively easy if you think you'll be traveling by bus!

About
I am a very relaxed and easygoing and open minded guy looking to host people and make new friends around the world. I have always wanted to work in the hospitality industry since I was a kid it was a dream of mine to own my own bed and Breakfast. I lived in my home on Tift Ave for almost eleven years. I have hosted many friends and travelers from around the world in my historic home. Now that I found out about Air BNB, I am opening my home to you. I now have four properties close to downtown Atlanta two in historic Capital View neighborhood and two in Historic Adair Park neighborhood. they are both very close to downtown and walking distance from the marta train station and bus stops so Its very easy to get around the city without the need for a car. Several of the homes also can be booked entirely for larger groups.I also have many hostel spaces available great for travelers on a budget. I love to share travel stories drink good wine and eat good food. I like almost anything as far as food goes and red and white white alike as well as a good beer. I really don't have any major rules just be a polite guest as I will be a great host and even show you around if you need me to. I also love the outdoors and know some great places to hike in Atlanta. I also love to cook, drink wine or beers and eat good food and have a Nice large kitchen for you to make yourself at home in as well as each house has a great private backyard and fire pit and large front porches, The house I live at on Tift Ave has a hot tub that's great for skinny dipping and also has 3 cats and a small dog you will love. My other 3 properties do not have any animals unless a guest happens to have one.
