Welcome to the Pine Top Loft! A peaceful retreat for your next adventure! Surrounded by the beauty of the PA Wilds. The loft is just minutes away from numerous outdoor activities. Enjoy elk viewing right around the corner. Go to a PSU game. Enjoy a concert at BJC. Ride ATVs/UTVs on the Snow Shoe Rails to Trails. Fish, hike, bike, hunt or snowmobile nearby in Moshannon State Forest or Quehanna Wild Area. Canoe/kayak at Black Moshannon , the Red Moshannon or West Branch of the Susquehanna River.
The space
The Pine Top Loft is an apartment in the top of our barn. It has an open floor plan and a cabin type atmosphere. It's tucked away in the woods with a country setting.
This one bedroom, one bath space has all the amenities you'll need to enjoy your getaway. Cozy bedroom with a twin over full bunk style bed, a comfortable living room area with a twin day bed, twin trundle bed, and one leather sofa. Full bathroom with a shower. The loft has room to accommodate 4 guests.
There are several board games, cards, puzzles and activities. There is a smart TV with a variety of streaming apps and DVDs. There is free WiFi and very good Verizon cell phone service.
The kitchen has all the essentials. Full size refrigerator/freezer, stove/oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, sink, dinner-ware, pots and pans, utensils, cookware, cups, plates, bowls, salt and pepper.
The outdoor area is perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Sit and talk about your adventures around the campfire, relax on the deck or prepare a delicious meal with the propane grill.
The parking area is right beside the loft entrance. Ample parking for trailers with ATVs or UTVs.
If you want to ride your ATV or SXS from the loft to the trails, we'd be happy to provide directions.

Guests will have access to the entire loft apartment, deck, fire pit area behind the barn and parking lot beside loft entrance.
The surrounding grounds and trails are private property.
Other things to note
Please bring your own bed linens, sleeping bags, pillows, towels and personal toiletries. Sheets, blankets, pillows and towels ARE NOT INCLUDED.
We have several chickens and the Pine Top Loft overlooks their enclosure area. The chickens are very friendly! Feel free to visit the animals, but we simply ask that you do not enter any of the buildings or animal enclosures. The chickens frequently roam the property.
Also, our home is next door so you may see us out and about, taking care of the animals, working in the gardens or relaxing with family in our backyard. If you would like to say hello, please do. Otherwise we will respect your privacy.
The loft is located in a wooded area. You may encounter bugs and other wildlife during your stay.
Surveillance cameras monitor the exterior of the loft.
Maximum occupancy is 4 guests.
