Tree-lined streets, you'll pass through the front flower garden to enter the unit. Larger than most English basements in the neighborhood (8' ceilings) and plenty of light. The decor is simple, modern, and artistic with a focus on DC history and culture. Step outside and you'll be on Bloomingdale's most picturesque main thoroughfare, 1st Street NW, and only 2 short blocks from ten restaurants in the historic Shaw neighborhood. 16min stroll to Shaw-Howard Metro.

Other things to note
My family and I live in the upper 3 floors of the building so, as with most other city spaces in DC, you will be able to hear footsteps. We observe quiet hours between 7:30pm-7:30am but can do our best to limit daytime noise if you will be working remote here.
