About This Listing
We rent a charming double room with balcony and views of the Church of Sant Pere, the oldest in Barcelona.
The flat is very bright and spacious, nicely decorated. Clean and tidy. High ceilings, mosaic floors and vintage kitchen.
I am Olga from Barcelona, 31 years old and my partner Erika 34 from Italy.
We live in a beautiful apartment, large and sunny in the heart of Barcelona. But I enjoy being in a very quiet area in the neighbourhood of Sant Pere, near the Born.
I rent two bedrooms, for one or two people. I have two posts in Airbnb so you can see the best option for you.
This double bedroom is spacious with a sunny balcony. The room has wardrobe, hangers, night-stand, rocking chair or chair with small table if you need to work with the computer.
We share the living room, kitchen, bathroom, and a storage room where you can leave your baggage.
You will have your own space in the toilet and in the kitchen (fridge and kitchen cabinets) to keep your stuff.
Also we have elevator so don't worry about carrying up your luggage!
The flat is in a strategic area in front of the church of Sant Pere (the oldest in Barcelona), where there are several restaurants and bars, where you can sit on the terrace.

How to arrive:
To arrive home from Airport El Prat, the best option is taking the Aerobus to Plaça Catalunya (last stop). Once you get off the bus go on your right and take Fontanella (is the first on the left corner with comercial centre. You will cross Plaça Urquinaona, and from there take Carrer Trafalgar (is quite long and with a curve) you keep on Trafalgar till my street LLuis el Piadós (right side)
From Girona Airport you just can take a Bus to Barcelona that stops in Estació del Nord, very close from home. You need to walk to "Arc de Trionf", once you are in front of the arch, turn right and take Carrer Trafalgar (towards cars directions- has a shoe shop on the corner "Eivissa) till my street Carrer LLuis el Piados (second on your left side).
If you are arriving by train, for example to Sants Estació, you have to change platform to number 8 and take any train and stop in Arc de Trionf.

Olga and Erica were very friendly and made us feel at home. They were available and helpful when needed and unobtrusive otherwise. We had a young child travelling with us and Olga went out of her way to provide a travel crib and high chair. They alos tolerated the occasional inevitable crying without complaint.
The description was accurate and the rental section is quite logically separated from the shared area and Olga's private space.
Dedicated space was available in the fridge and cupboards and they let us use coffee, sugar etc.
The location was very central, we were able to walk almost everywhere and Metro was close by for the longer trips.
The only negative aspect for us was that although the location is on a quiet street, the waste/ recycling collection seems to happen every night around midnight and the acoustics make it quite loud in the bedrooms.

Everything about this place was fantastic! Great location, super clean apartment (which was also very beautiful in and of itself), great hosts!
All of Olga and Erika's recommendations were on point -- I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable time in Barcelona!
Olga and Erika are amazing hosts. They were very helpful and supportive how to get to locations, where to buy etc. The appartments are located in the heart of the old city with a lot of shops, bars and supermarkets nearby. My room as well as other rooms are shiny clean and spacy. I could sunbath on the balcony )) I had amazing time in Barcelona!! Next time I'll return, I'll stay at Olga & Erika's again. Thanks you girls!!
Olga and Erika are very nice hosts. The flat is beautiful - and in the middle of the historic centre. I can really recommend the accommodation.
We really enjoyed our stay at Olga and Erika's room. They are very friendly and accomodating. We were able to stay 1 night more due to our flight cancelation.
The appartement is very well located in the old city and tastefully decorated.
Olga cooks very good cakes. Thank you for inviting us to Erika's birthday.
We really recommand this location.
In unmittelbarer Nähe findet man kleine Restaurants, Bäckereien, Geschäfte, Sehenswürdigkeiten, Museen, etc.
