About This Listing
My loft is one of those original lofts made for an artist. Northern light with windows on both sides of this corner unit makes it full of sun. 35 foot ceilings and warm oriental rugs make for a bohemian experience right on the San Francisco H2Ofront
Looking North towards the Studio, there is now a second deck built in this area. See more photos for the deck build out
Live in the heart of a new hip neighborhood, Dogpatch on the San Francisco Waterfront. Beautiful corner loft with skylights 12 foot windows and 30 foot ceilings. Full kitchen, living area and studio space. Loft bedroom, one bath with shower and tub. New additional deck built out on the first floor that adds 300 sq feet to the space. Enclosed room downstairs for an office and my painting studio. The space is cozy with oriental rug, natural tone colors and handsome wood details. Not ideal for children under 10 as the loft areas are open.
1 block to bus and muni train, 3 blocks from Cal Trans, excellent freeway on ramps to town, the airport, Bay Bridge and points south. Plenty of free street parking. Great restaurants, cafes, wine bar and full bars with live music. If you have a dog, this is the place for them, with a dog park right outside at Esprit park, where they can run off leash with other dogs.
Experience a real live work loft of a working artist.
You will find all the amenities and hospitality you would want in my loft.
Free reign of the loft. Laundry in building. Neighbors often have BBQs out front so that is always nice.
Interaction with Guests
I check in every couple of weeks with my tenants. If I am in town and with meet with you prior to your booking. Otherwise email and text works best.
Dogpatch is exploding. A very hot neighborhood with new businesses opening and new apartment buildings going up.
Super easy. Bus routes outside and across the street. 3rd street rail (muni) is one block over. Airport is 15-20 drive. Caltrains is three blocks away. Downtown is a 15 min bike ride or 5 min cab ride. Private on street parking can be arranged on an individual basis.
Not to be used for commercial use, rowdy parties, or bands. Quite building, respectful neighbors.
Spectacular appartment in a cool neighbourhood. I would recommens this to everybody. Although Zannah was in NY, she arranged everything perfectly well for us. We kept in touch by phone. This worked very well. Nice job. For a possible next visit to SF I'll book it again when available.
Zannah's place was incredible and exactly as she described it. The space was cozy, clean, spacious and had tons of personality (we're talking original artwork, pull-out windows and one-of-a-kind decorations). The loft is in a quiet part of town, so it's perfect for anyone looking to wind down and relax after a long day in the city!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique place to stay in SF!
My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at Zannah's loft. She was very sweet! She left us coffee & even offered to drive us to the local farmers market. It was our first time staying in the Dogpatch & while there aren't as many restaurants, bars and cafes to chose from as there are in other SF neighborhoods we absolutely loved it!
The loft is quite cozy. Zannah is a very talented artist and her work compliments the space nicely. We really loved the big windows & high ceilings. These features do however pose a challenge to keeping the space a constant temperature. If you are sensitive to hot & cold this may not be the space for you. Luckily this wasn't too much of a problem for us and we look forward to staying there again the next time we are vacationing in SF.
We spent three nights at Zannah's loft and were truly amazed with the experience. Unfortunately Zannah was out of town during our stay but she left us plenty of information and her neighbor Courtney was very helpful during check-in and check-out.
This is an industrial loft which feels far more boheme than bourgeois, and is the actual studio of the owner. Believe the pictures, the loft is smartly decorated with a honest, straight industrial style, but remains extremely cozy and homey, after long walks in the cold san francisco summer.
It is located in Dogpatch, a small historic neighborhood east of Potrero, still off the beaten track. It boasts with turn of the century warehouses and Victorian cottages, and there are a few trendy (and delicious) places to eat, which we could sample thanks to Zannah's recommendations. Despite being relatively far from downtown SF, it is well connected by public transport. Free parking spots are easy to grab in the front street.
Overall, I highly recommend this listing to travelers wanting a more authentic, less touristy SF experience.
Zannah lives in the best area of The City (I live in SF, too) to access all places, but most importantly if you have a car . . . . it's EASY parking! With that and the best weather, Potrero Hill is the best place to be (I grew up here). My fiance was visiting from out-of-town and we needed a place for the long weekend since I have a housemate.
Her place is a real, artist live/work loft, not one of those fake, nouveau ones you see all over The City. (Her building was converted from a factory years ago.) Everything was great - the only thing is that it got a little cold downstairs (it was a cold weekend) and since there's so much room, it didn't warm up as quickly as it did upstairs.
It was great being surrounded by so much art and I loved all the art books she has. (I'm a Banksy fan and spent a lot time going through his book "War and Piece" - SOOO glad you had it!)
You will not be disappointed staying at Zannah's and if you're going to have a car, you won't find a better place.
I instantly fell in love with this appartment! Lots of sunlight and Zannah's wonderful paintings make this airy loft a wonderful, creative place to stay. Zannah was easy-going, very helpful and friendly. Absolutely recommended, would come again anytime.
