About this listing
My loft is one of those original lofts made for an artist. Northern light with windows on both sides of this corner unit makes it full of sun. 35 foot ceilings and warm oriental rugs make for a bohemian experience right on the San Francisco H2Ofront
Looking North towards the Studio, there is now a second deck built in this area. See more photos for the deck build out
I’m looking to simplify my bi-coastal life with some one else that wishes to join the fray without hassle of managing all the details. Looking for an individual or couple who are makers, artists, or fabricators or in creative tech industries that want to live/work in the Brooklyn and San Francisco. It’s a unique opportunity to launch your product, work on an commission work, or whatever creative endeavor that would need a bi coastal live/work space in two of the hottest markets. Short term/Yearly/Share live/work spaces would be in Brooklyn and San Francisco. Legal, managed and fully furnished. It’s an amazing unique opportunity. Send me a message if you are interested.
Location for the Loft
1 block to bus and muni train, 3 blocks from Cal Trans, excellent freeway on ramps to town, the airport, Bay Bridge and points south. Plenty of free street parking. Great restaurants, cafes and a wine bar.
Experience a real live work loft of a working artist.
You will find all the amenities and hospitality you would want in my loft.
Free reign of the loft except host bedroom. Laundry in building. Neighbors often have BBQs out front so that is always nice.
Interaction with Guests
I'm here with my greyhound dog this winter. Looking for long term bi coastal renter for this share.
Dogpatch is exploding. A very hot neighborhood with new businesses opening and new apartment buildings going up. Call it the Chocolate Ghetto
Super easy. Bus routes outside and across the street. 3rd street rail (muni) is one block over. Airport is 15-20 drive. Caltrains is three blocks away. Downtown is a 15 min bike ride or 5 min cab ride. Private on street parking can be arranged on an individual basis.
Other Things to Note
Room for rent is the main bedroom on the opposite side second level. Double bed, linens, bureau, double size closet, vintage 10’benches.
Common space can serve many purposes. Living room, or gallery, pop ups, small gatherings. I have used the space as a venue for cooking classes, art shows and events. The space is ideal for pop ups as its ground level, large windows and a Billboard that I have co-opted time to time.
Not to be used for commercial use without prior approval, rowdy parties, or bands. Quite building, respectful neighbors.
