AVAILABLE FOR 2015 EXPO
We have just made available the apartment on the same floor right next door to this one; it is the mirror image of this apartment. Same location, same size, same facilities, same rate, same view! Perfect for Expo participants.
Comfortably furnished, bright one-bedroom apartment
close to city centre in Milan's famous Chinatown area,
also near to lively Corso Como, Brera and the beautiful Sempione Park.
Our Paolo Sarpi apartment in Milan, Italy, in the heart of our characteristic Chinatown and near Corso Como and the Brera area as well! Paolo Sarpi street and some nearby streets were closed to traffic at the end of 2008 and so the area is really quiet by day and night.
FROM END 2013: brand-new world-renowned EATALY, Italian-only gourmet food department store and restaurants, ony 10 minutes walk from apartment!
We offer our pretty, light, one-bedroom apartment close to the centre of Milan, Italy, for rentals, from as short-term as one week to as long as two years. Our rental guests include holiday-makers, students and people on short-term work contracts who wish for something more attractive and independent than anonymous hotel accommodation for their stay in Milan.
The apartment is on the third floor of a characteristic casa di ringhiera. These are homes typical of 19th-century Milan with access from open balconies with a balustrade, the ringhiera. On the street side are French windows facing south and east and to the north the windows overlook the central courtyard.
The apartment now has an elevator and is handy to bus and trams that take you into the city-centre in ten/fifteen minutes. Milan's public transport system is excellent and cheap.
The surrounding area of Paolo Sarpi is lively and good for shopping and restaurants and now the entire Paolo Sarpi street has become a pedestrian-only zone.
The apartment is simply and comfortably furnished and has a small, complete kitchenette; a living-room with a sofa-bed; a bathroom with shower and washing-machine; and a bedroom with double-glazed windows. The bedroom sleeps two on a double or two singles.
Living-room with kitchen; refrigerator; cooker and oven; full kitchen equipment; broadband internet connection; heating; washing-machine; fan; air-con unit; linen/towels and weekly cleaning included in rate.
We would expect our guests to treat the apartment as they would wish their own home to be treated...We are happy if people can enjoy our home and its good location while treating it with respect. Please be quiet on the stairs and in the public spaces of the condominium.
For stays of over one month: a contract will be signed and registered; refundable 800 euro deposit is required; guests need to be covered by insurance for personal liability in case of damage or breakages to our property or also to our neighbours' property. If guests are not covered we can arrange for this insurance.
I had a very nice stay at Leitha's appartment. The flat is cosy, with a warm Mediterranean touch, that I really appreciated in a big city like Milano.
The surroundings of the flat are really pleasant, with a nice pedestrian street just in front of the flat, which is lively and at the same time quiet at night.
Leitha was really kind and took always care of me and of my staying. I would definetely recommend her flat.
Leitha and Fabio were fantastic hosts! If I ever get a chance to revisit Milan, I will surely consider staying here. In terms of the living situation, below are some pros and cons to consider.
The location is great, along a pedestrian street with many shops. It is also maybe a ten minute tram ride to the Duomo. And another great benefit is that there is a great park ten minutes walk away. There is a cleaning option every weekend, which really helps out. The apartment itself is very bright and welcoming. It is very spacious! We had a great time here.

About the Host, Leitha
I am Australian, a mother with two grown children, an Italian husband. Having lived for 25 years in Milan, we are now based in Chianti, Tuscany, in the countryside and are happy to rent out our family home and a couple of other apartments in the city to guests wishing to visit or work in Milan for a while. I love country living, having a garden, having time to write stories for children. However Milan is an exciting city with lots on offer, it's nice to visit now and then. I hope you enjoy your stay!
We have a fantastic assistant, Tony, who speaks English and will take care of you while you stay in the Garibaldi Grande, the Spazio or the Yellow apartment. However I am always on call and happy to help with inquiries etc.
In our family we can get by in quite a few languages including Portuguese, Hindi and Arabic as well as those listed! We are great travellers, although now I feel our children have taken over in that sphere.
