Henrik's apartment was a wonderful place to stay for me and a few of my colleagues who were on a work trip to Copenhagen. Henrik and his wife welcomed us when we arrived, and had helpful suggestions for the city. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and nice and sunny. For those of us with laptops, the WiFi was reliable. The kitchen is a great place to cook and socialize, too!
Lovely apartment in a conveniently located area. Exceptionally decorated, comfortable, and inviting. Henrik was very communicative and helpful throughout the experience. He made sure that everything was perfectly arranged for our visit and I would highly recommend his apartment and very much appreciated his attention to detail. We would definitely stay here again. Sincerely, John T. Sommer
We - a group of 5 - stayed at this great appartment in late June/early July and had a wonderfull time.
The appartment in located on the 4th and 5th floors with the roof terrace one further floor up. Be aware that there is no elevator in the building.
The location is excellent in a very calm sidestreet between the charming Frederiksberg Alle and the central Vesterbrogade.
All amenities, such as super markets, restaurants/take away places and public transportation is within a few steps of the appartment.
Furthermore the lovely Frederiksberg Have is very close by as well.
The Frederiksberg Mall (and Metro station), the Zoo and even the center of Copenhagen (the Grand Central Station, Tivoli etc) are all within walking distance as well - all between 15 to 45 minutes on foot. Or just a few minutes in bus.
The appartment in itself is very nice with nothing missing. A huge and well equiped kitchen/dining room and a good sized living room with a work-desk are both located on the "lower" floor on the appartment. Here you will also find a bathroom with washer and dryer.
On the "upper" floor there is an extra bathroom as well as the 3 bedrooms, and the ladder going to the terrace - which is very charming with a great view of the city roof-tops.
Henrik and his family were excellent hosts, making sure an extra bed was brought in for us - and leaving great instructions to everything. Even having drawn a cool little map for us to find the nearest supermarket(s) and best take away restaurants.
When we had a small issue with the wireless internet, Henrik responded to a text message very quickly and the internet was working without any problems for the duration of out stay.
All in all, I can only recommened this place highly for those that want an appartment in a quiet street, yet still want to be able to go "everywhere" rather easily. This goes double if you are a party of 4-5 people as its easily big enough to fit everyone in without feeling cramped.
Two big thumbs up :)
