  • Chris was very nice,
But we must say THE Flay is not worth the money,
the wifi does not work, you have mice in your flat (that pooed on our stuff), and, furthermore, I would not personally say this is a flat to fit 5-6 people, max 2. Unless people really squeeze in. But in the case of squeezing in, I think it is not fair asking them to pay 200 euros per day. So, I would reconsider either the price or number of people. In any case call someone to kill the rats.

    Response from Chris:

Dear Selina, The appartment is exactly as described on line and almos all guests excepted you are fully satisfied, as you can see through the reviews... There are 2 double beds in the appartment + 2 extra matresses. So, some people prefer to chose to pay less and staying a couple of days there, spending budget preferably in restaurants and French boulangerie next door ! :-D Moreover, I've not yet met Mickey Mouse in my flat, maybe a last guests' souvenir from DisneyLand , hahaha ! I appreciate your British jokes ! (even if guest could believe it's not a joke !)
Regarding Internet, indeed, we can't connect more than 2 computers on same time in the room.... sorry

    Response from Chris:

    Chris.

  • I spent 5 days in Chris' appartment. I like it. Very close to 7 and 10 metrostation. Small but clean, confortable. I dint meet Chris but he is very helpful, and great communication. For sure I will stay there if I come to Paris.

  • Chris was an amazing host and quick to response to our neeeds. The pictures in the profile are not exactly what you get. The other full size bed you get other than the futon is a high bunk bed. Also the pillows are so uncomfortable. They are decorative throw pillows for a bed or couch, not for sleeping. The bathroom did not have the hand held shower attached to the wall. Infact doesnt even look like same bathtub/shower. The handheld shower hangs over the knobs. Makes it a little difficult to wash your hair when you have to keep putting it down and the hot water runs out. Small old towels and you get one for your whole stay. They also show in the pictures a extra table for 2? we never saw it.GREAT things if you dont care about the above is LOCATION. That was correct. Amazing bakeries right down the street and market with everything you need. Metro so close and we walked to Notre Dame in 10 mins. I would recoomend it but not more than 2 people. Also the maid is over paid at $80.00 for the stay. The place is tiny, guess doing laundry is expensive. Oh one more thing wifi works on ocasion with Verizon, you have better luck if you have A T&T.

Lisa is a brilliant joker... (however, a bit mythomaniac!)
I would smile and laugh, if I had time to loose. But anyway, this comment is particularly amazing ! Good imagination!

  • We spent 3 days in the apartment in mid October. It is very well located, with the Cardinal Lemoine metro station just steps away. You can walk to the Ile de la Cite (downhill the whole way) in about 10 minutes. There is an excellent boulangerie right on the corner and a Carrefour across the street.

The apartment gives on to air shafts on both sides so is not particularly light. Also, it is true that there is no street noise but you can hear the metro rumbling past from time to time, although I would say the noise was more interesting than obtrusive. The apartment is a good value and well located. I would stay here again.

  • The location is great – the main reason why we had chosen this apartment. It is a small apartment but we felt very cozy and comfortable. There are some things may needed to improve like the broken window, little molds on a corner of the bathroom wall and the loose door handle. My cousin can access to the wifi that Chris provided (it is a public wifi), but I have no idea why I can't. But overall these are not really bothering us as we got all what we needed!

    Response from Chris:

Thanks Pinky for your feed back; which is always important and useful to improve the service. It was a pleasure to welcome you.

For the wifi connexion with my login and my password, you can't connect more than 2 devices on the same time.
About the window and other things, It has just been repaired yesterday ;-)

  • Communication with Chris and access to the apartment was excellent, great directions provided. The apartment was in a fabulous location, could walk to many places of interest and metro on doorstep. The platform bed a bit of a challenge to a "mature couple". Generally good value for money.
