If you're looking for the most spectacular views on the San Mateo Coast, come to Sea Wolf Bungalow. Located just 20 minutes southwest of San Francisco and 7 miles north of Half Moon Bay, this historic cabin sits on its on own point with sweeping views of the Pacific. Enjoy whale watching, the beach, surfing, fishing, golf, hiking and the fabulous dining of the coastal area.

The space
Legend says Jack London frequented the cabin long ago when he visited Nye's Reef in Moss Beach. Built in 1911, the cabin has been fully restored using most of the original wood. Some areas have been refurbished with reclaimed materials from the Bay Bridge, Mare Island Shipyard, San Bernardino Reservoir and various old houses yet the cabin still retains all of its historic character. The original stone fireplace was made from stones gathered from adjacent tide pools. The sunroom is perfect for whale watching, morning coffee and evening cocktails.

This property is NOT suitable for children. The small area west of the house has steep cliffs so you go at your own risk. You may occasionally see my neighbor out there enjoying the sunset but the cliffs do not have public access.

The bedroom is downstairs and all other areas (including the bathroom) are upstairs. Although there is no built-in oven, you will find a toaster oven and all other amenities in the kitchen.

We have Tesla solar powered batteries so there will be NO power outages due to storms or rolling blackouts.

No children, pets, smoking inside, candles, fires on the point or parties.

Two Samoyed dogs on the property and in the yard at times.

Washer and dryer available on request. Located in the main house where I live.

Enjoy the point west of the house and feel free to use the horseshoe pit.

Other things to note
Area west of the fire pit along the steep cliffs is state property. Go at your own risk.
