ABOUT DUMBLETON, GLOUCESTERSHIRE.

Idyllic estate village included within Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Benefit of renowned Cricket Ground, Grade 1 listed Norman church and Grade 2 listed Old Rectory where Shakespeare visited. During Second World War Dumbleton Hall was allegedly considered as suitable venue for House of Lords. Also suggested that Hitler “reserved” the Hall as a private residence upon his victory in Europe.

MORE ABOUT THE LOCATION

Dumbleton is well placed for visiting the local villages and market towns of Cotswolds. Broadway, Bourton On Water, The Slaughters, Winchcombe and Burford are within easy reach as are the towns such as Cheltenham, Stratford upon Avon and Bath.
