Fenced back yard. Covered back patio. Parking in driveway, boat parking okay.

Cozy up around a wood burning fireplace in winter or enjoy being only 1 1/2 miles from the lake in the summer. Two flat screen TVs for playing DVDs, a DVD library, hot tub, fire pit & a grill in the back.
Firestick, washer, dryer, microwave, & Keurig available.

The space
Our Canyon Lake home is in a neighborhood, but- we are still country! And with country comes wild animals, primarily deer but also raccoons, possums, armadillos, fox, skunks, etc. (Also, there are bugs that fly, sting and bite.) If you don't see enough deer to your liking, we have a deer feeder and when turned on, it will bring out hordes of deer and sometimes other critters!

Where you’ll be

Canyon Lake, Texas, United States

Canyon Lake is a great place to visit all year round! Of course in the summer months, it's the water activities. Boat and jet ski rentals are nearby. If you like to shop, Guerne has many quaint shops and restaurants to check out, or venture to Fredericksburg for a full day of shopping and eating! If you like to hike, while in the Fredericksburg area, walk the giant granite batholith called Enchanted Rock! (reservations req.) Closer to home, tour the Canyon Gorge, created from the 2002 flood that exposed awesome geology that was once underground (reservations recommended). During certain times of year, the bats fly out of Bracken cave (registering is required).
Touring the wineries of the Hill Country either guided or self-guided is always a treat.
Of course, spending a day at the San Antonio Riverwalk and Alamo is a must-see too!

Don and I have lived at Canyon Lake for 16 years. We searched and searched the Texas Hill Country for the right location to retire and this pristine blue-green lake was calling us! We've been married over 45 years - we were high school sweethearts! We have 2 adult children that have given us 4 beautiful grandchildren.
