The Space

Make yourself at home in this bright, warm 2 bedroom / 2 bath nest in the middle of all that Cambridge has to offer. Ideally located for walking to cafes, restaurants, and shops. An easy 10 minute stroll to Harvard Square passing right through Harvard Yard. Or a 10 minute walk to the bars and shops of Central Square. Very convenient living within walking distance of Whole Foods and several other grocery stores, as well as a 10 minute walk to the T - be in the heart of downtown Boston in 25 minutes! Perfect for sabbatical rental for academics visiting Harvard / MIT / BU and other area universities.

The apartment itself is clean and spacious - on a corner, so plenty of light and overlooks a small children's park across the street which seems to be very popular with the Gymboree set on a sunny day! Enjoy your morning coffee on the balcony watching the neighborhood go by. Just off the main road, so you have both accessibility, but also quiet tree-lined streets.

There are two bedrooms available, each with comfortable queen sized beds, and closet space. Enjoy the wonderful open plan living room and dining and fully equipped modern kitchen. You will love cooking here! There is wifi and a flat screen tv with tivo, though no cable stations.

This is my main home though I only live here part time as I travel extensively for work. Seems a shame to let the place sit empty for so much of the time!

A City Street Parking Permit can be available through prior arrangement.

  • We were in town for a week conference and it was wonderful to have a home to come back to after several intense days. Kelly's apartment is in a lovely quiet location and had all the conveniences of being at home. The apartment was spacious, spotless and welcoming. Kelly was a fantastic communicator and left instructions that were comprehensive and easy to follow. I would definitely choose to stay here again and highly recommend the apartment.

  • Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Kelly was pleasant, prompt and more than helpful. The condo was quiet, comfortable and well appointed. Everything a budding chef could hope for in a kitchen. And the view of the "tot-lot" from the dining room table was a bonus, delightful. My son has three more years at Tufts and we feel that we have found our home away from home.

  • My friend and I were in town to attend a conference and wanted to avoid the hotel scene. Kelly's apartment was the perfect alternative. It's located in a charming, quiet neighborhood in Cambridge, close to lots of restaurants. The apt was clean and well equipped with everything we could have wanted, including an updated kitchen, comfortable beds and 2 beautifully renovated bathrooms. Thanks to Kelly's on-street parking pass we were able to park right in front of the apt most days. Kelly's instructions were perfect and she was in touch with us several times to make sure all went well. I would definitely recommend this place!

  • Cute, comfortable, convenient, inviting apartment in a quiet, Cambridge neighborhood. Very nicely appointed -- everything you need is available, from cookware to spices to coffee & tea. There's plenty of fresh towels and linens if you need extras. Kelly's place is very clean and well maintained.

Due to extraordinary circumstances during our stay (after the Boston Marathon), we spent extra time in the apartment and felt very comfortable and right at home. Kelly kept in touch and was thoughtful and gave helpful suggestions during our visit.

  • This was my first experience as an AirBnB client and as the other reviewers mentioned, this apartment is indeed gorgeous, comfortable & clean. It is located on a nice and peaceful street, within walkable distance from Harvard Square with all its restaurants and cafes. Kelly has also been extremely responsive. Within an hour from first contact, she had responded to all my questions and I proceeded with the booking. Thanks again Kelly!

  • Kelly was a doll to work with. I knew that this would be a good experience when she referred to the rental as 'your apartment.' The apartment is clean, cozy, and inviting, located on a quiet residential street that is close to transportation and good restaurants. Kelly left detailed instructions about the apartment, which made it easier to feel 'at home'. All in all, our time on Maple St. was a good experience with an excellent landlord.

  • This was an absolutely seamless experience. The condo is beautiful and impeccably kept; the location is a perfect launching point for your Cambridge activities. Kelly is extremely responsive and helpful... and she even has a delegate who is in town and can be on hand when she is not. The beds are extraordinarily comfortable, and the porch is a wonderful, serene place to enjoy the neighborhood sounds while having a meal or a cup of coffee. I really cannot say enough good things about this place or the service.

  • Everything went very smoothly, from check-in to check-out. The apartment is gorgeous, everything was exactly as on the pictures, perhaps even better in person. Kelly did an amazing job on interior design with meticulous attention to detail--some furniture and household items are a piece of art. The beds are very comfortable, air conditioning works great, the living room/dining room is great to lounge in. The apartment was very spotless clean. The only thing I would change is I would put up black-out blinds in the guest bedroom, as current blinds filter the light, but the sun woke me up early. The area is really amazing, my favorite in the Cambridge area, with many great restaurants and cafes. Thanks, Kelly!

About
I travel a lot for work and pleasure, mostly around the US and in Europe, but have made Boston my home for the last 10 years. I love to cook for myself and friends (and finally have a great kitchen for doing so!) and appreciate the value of a cozy, comforting home base when I'm here. I hope others can enjoy it when I'm not!
