The Space

- 70 m2 apartment including two balconies (one overlooking the cosy hangout spot Bopa Plads with cafees, a playground and a petanque court), bathroom with bathtub, TV, WiFi and fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher. The couch in the living room can fold out to accomodate two extra people.

- The neighbourhood is a great mixture of quiet family friendly surroundings combined with lively cafees and restaurants. Grocery shopping is only a short walk away (24h convenient store 2 min. away), as goes for trendy shops for both men and women. The area has several green spots, including a large park (Fælledparken) and the popular Copenhagen lakes.

- Getting from the airport to the apartment only takes 30 min. with public transportation. You take either train or metro, and the change to a bus that leaves every 6th minute.

- Getting to the various sights of Copenhagen is also very easy. There are buses leaving up to 12 times pr. hour that will take you straight to Nørreport and Kongens Nytorv in less than 10 minutes. Taking the bus in the opposite direction will take you straight to the mondane Hellerup area with great shopping at Strandvejen and various restaurants. Furthermore, Nordhavn train station is only a 7 min. walk from the apartment and from here you can access all areas in greater Copenhagen.

Check In
  • Christoffer's apartment was so beautiful! Quite large and very open as well as clean and nicely decorated.

The location was great as well - many shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood and within waking distance or public transit to all the sights I'm Copenhagen.

We would absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Copenhagen.

  • We (2 adults + 2 children) had a really nice stay. The apartment is nice, bright and quiet. The location is ideal with close access to public transportation to go into the city centre but also very close to one of the big parks in Copenhagen with play areas etc. Supermarkets, bakers etc can also be found closeby. Finally the contact with Christoffer was really good and prompt.

  • We had booked 3 nights in the apartment but the beginning of the trip was catastrophic: huge storm in the north of Europe, flight cancelled and reported to the following day, we missed the first night in Copenhagen and upon arrival the delivery of the luggage was also delayed…Well not easy! However, in the end everything went back into place. Christopher and Maria were very nice and they let us extend our stay by one night (total 4 nights) due to our arrival delayed by 24 hours :) The apartment is cosy, full of light and beds are really comfy, even the couch! We reached the apartment by bus, very easy from the main square, (approximately 10 minutes) and the bus stops really close to the building. Christopher sent us information on restaurants and bars close to the apartment and gave us clear directions to reach his place from the city centre. The only problem we had was a little inconvenience with the heating in the dining room, but in the all mess Christopher decided to charge us for 3 nights like we had initially booked, instead of 4; this was a very nice gesture and it cheered us up. We had a lovely time and we felt like home. Thanks!

  • Another great stay at Christoffer's!! I love the large living room, with plenty of natural light, and a great feeling of space. The apartment has everything you need, from a functional kitchen with dishwasher to bathroom with a good hot shower.
The bed is comfortable, and the neighbourhood very quiet.
Thanks Christoffer, a great stay, I look forward to my next time!

  • We arrived in Copenhagen after an all day flight from the USA and could not get into the apartment until 1400. This was not a problem. When we arrived at 1400, the apartment owners mother in law was there cleaning and garbage was still at the front door. She was very nice but did not speak much English. The apartment seemed nice and had plenty of room. It is a 3 story walk up, no elevators. This is not a problem for us but may be for others. The apartment had a nice view out the back and seemed to have all we needed. We left for the day and returned at 2100. Upon our return loud music was coming from apartment next door. It only got worse, loud music, drunk people singing. We thought this would go on for a while but unfortunately for us it went on until 0430 in the morning. The neighbors did not care. We called the mother in law and left a message but she did not answer. We emailed the owners and all she said was that has not happened in 3 years. Maybe not but the last night all we heard were drunks coming from the bars into the apartments at early hours of the morning. We never saw the owners, we were ushered in and out. The owners last email to us was I am so sorry when are you leaving.

The apartment may be beautiful in European standards but is far from it. The furnishings are minimal, no curtains except in the bedroom. The bathroom is dimly lit and dirty. The shower curtain has mold on it and it did not even cover the entire tub. We were left with two towels and one hand towel for 3 days.

The bedroom is very small with a cloth resembling a sheet over the window. The bed itself was a 6 inch foam mattress with a 3 inch top. It was not comfortable and was small. Maybe a full size. My back was sore each day.

We have stayed at Airbnd location before and our experience with the owners was fantastic. Here we never even met them and they seemed to not care. When we left the apartment, one of the bags of garbage was still at the front door.

I am sure you can find better accommodations in Copenhagen and would not recommend this apartment.

  • We stayed 3 days in the appartment of Christopher and Maria. Everything was exactly as described and visible on the pics. It's located in a very quite location but still very accessible by public transport and central to all attractions. It was clean and suited our purpose as a weekend get-away. Communication was quick and easy. Definitely recommending this place!

  • Christoffer and Mary are very good hosts, they was always in touch, they are very pleasant and helpful. Apartment is very nice and bright, everything we needed were there. But it may be important for somebody: there no curtains in rooms (except the bedroom and bathroom) in the apartment and no lift (apartment is situated at 4 floor).

  • We had a fantastic stay at Christoffer's apartment. The apartment was stylishly decorated, clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed - a comfy bed, plenty of space, a well equipped kitchen, towels, bedding - and we felt at home immediately. We really liked the area too. It felt safe and was interesting to walk round and explore. Good cafes nearby - we went to Pixie on Bopa Plads for breakfast on the first morning which was delicious. We took the bus into the center of Copenhagen each day which was quick and easy and relatively cheap (15 K each way. Everything in Copenhagen is more expensive than England!) Christoffer was great at communicating with us. He always responded promptly to my emails and was very friendly and helpful. This was our first time using airbnb and he certainly made me feel confident that everything was going to work out! We would definitely stay again if we return to Copenhagen, thank you!

  • Copenhagen is a fabulous city and we really enjoyed exploring it from this gorgeous, minimalistic apartment which had excellent transport links. It was quiet and allowed us to embrace a local feeling. Brilliant restaurant recommendations and great communication. Perfect first air bnb experience! Thank you
