Eva's house and yard is beautiful. Lots of space and 21/2 bathrooms. It is quite a long walk to get to the closest beach (4th) but well worth it. The local bus takes you into town for $2R and from there it is easy to get to the more populated beaches. We were a disappointed that, when our sons friends happened to be in Morro, they would not accommodate them for the rate for extra people that was indicated in the listing. Over all we had a great stay on Morro and would recommend it as a vacation spot if you enjoy lots of activity and night life.
We had a great time! Eva and Jefferson were very helpful and the grounds were beautiful. They brought us delicious crabs one night and helped with any questions we had. The beach was a little farther than we expected, about a 20 minute walk if you're young and 35 if you're older :) We do suggest that you always pay for the minimum number of people. We paid for 2 extra people that ended up not showing up on time (one of them missed 2 nights and the other missed 1 night) and we were unable to negotiate the extra days we paid for. This was our 3rd time staying at an AIR BNB place and we've always counted on the photos to help us distribute our group. In this case, there was 1 small room that was not shown in any of the website photos. So that through us off a bit. We did have a great time tho. The beach is beautiful and we ate well often. We just felt like we overpaid a bit.
Lovely place and people!! I'll be back fore sure!!
Eva is very helpful and attentive!!
Eva was a fantastic host during our stay in Morro. She welcomed us from the boat and took us to the house via a bar ;)
The bungalow we stayed in was perfectly formed for 2 (3 could fit if all the same sex and not shy!). The grounds of the house were so beautiful. The gardens were well kept and the pool was small but perfectly formed. We even saw monkeys and were given a pineapple from the garden.
The town, Zimbo (4th beach), was a very local Brasilian place. We loved it, going to the local bar and buying food to cook at home from the super market. However, if you want to be by the main beach (2nd beach) then maybe its a little far. However it really depends on your budget - a taxi to 2nd beach costs R$20/25 each way. There is a bus on the hour but it finishes fairly early. It must be said though that 2nd beach is literally packed, so many people, mainly young, party going Argentians. Great if you are lookng for that but not so great if you wanted a calm view!
Thank you to Eva and her family. x
