On the same street Daniel Gabriel Fahrenheit was born (phone number hidden)) . A physicist, engineer, and glass blower who is best known for inventing the alcohol thermometer (1709) and the mercury thermometer (1714), and for developing a temperature scale now named after him.
Fahrenheit was born in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, into a German Hans merchant family. His five children get married and lived in Gdansk, in my street ;) where you can see the sign on their house.

Visit the world's amber capital and feel its romantic atmosphere of tortuous streets, charming houses and excellent restaurants. See the unique crooked buildings and live in one of them.
Very central apartment. Nice apartment, suitable size for me and my family (5 adults). We enjoyed our stay.
The apartment was great, clean, cosy and stylish. It was just like the photos. Placed in a fantastic location, with a 2 minute walk to the Main Street mall and a 15 minute walk to the central train station. I was greeted by Monika's mum on arrival, who was one of the most friendliest and helpful people, making me feel very at home. This really put a good start to a long holiday and provided a good insight into how the locals live. Thank you. :)
Great location of apartment - just behind main walking street in the heart of Gdansk. The host is well prepared and we have not expierenced any issues with apartment. Smooth check-in and check-out. Apartment itself is spacious, clean and cosy. We will absolutely recommend it.
We absolutely loved this place. The location was amazing, the apartment was perfect. And Monika's mom was just delightful. Couldn't have been better. Highly recommended.
Lovely, light & clean apartment. Great location within minutes walk of restaurants & harbour. We really enjoyed our stay in Gdansk! Thank you Monika & family!
